One reviewer? THAT IS THE THING, listen.

IGN is one of the most popular gaming sites. This score may make or break a purchase for some people. They're like "LOL, THIS IS ANOTHER GAMECUBE GAME!!1!!" and won't buy it.

Meaning the end of the FE series, at least in America. No revenue = no more games.

#!@#$@#%@#$%

I shall get back at them for this, I swear...</big>

Well, it involves the detonating of stink bombs that also scream "YOU GUYS SUCK FOR NOT GIVING FIRE EMBLEM A HIGHER SCORE" at IGN's headquarters. I could always use a helping hand.

>_>;;;

Okay, yeah, I admit, I'm overreacting. RD's graphics are pathetic by today's standards. But that's not what FE is about.</big>

Ok, double posting because the one I just did was just a spelling and grammatical mishap.

You sound like my friend. Whenever she gets a 90 in class, she flips out and says she's failing.
When I get 97 and she gets a 95 in AP US History, I tease her for it, and SHE'S ACTUALLY UPSET.

You sound like her.

Seriously, 8.0 is still a buyable score. I base my good games on anything higher than a 6.5.</big>

Hey, I'm the kind that freaks out over getting a 95. I don't settle for anything less than perfect, either.

Well, then you're *CEN-2.0-SORD* outta luck.

Have a good time getting a girlfriend D:

SIMPLE STORYTELLING, huh?
It never said that.

Radiant Dawn's story is one of the most engrossing in ANY game
Says you.

No motion, no IR, no Mii, no online... Are you certifiably insane? How the FREAK would Fire Emblem use Miis? Motion sensitivity, while nice, is NOT NECESSARY. Damn you again, IGN.
The writer did say that it wasn't needed, just that there is little additions over the GameCube version.

With so much text in Fire Emblem, voicing it all is impossible.
Not true. However, I personally don't want to see games like Fire Emblem or Legend of Zelda ever getting true voice acting.

Fire Emblem is ALL about the gameplay, nobody played games in the series for the presentation.
Don't pretend to represent all people who have ever bought a Fire Emblem game.

THERE. THE OPENING PARAGRAPH SAYS IT BEST. Then why bother criticizing the game if you KNOW THAT FIRE EMBLEM DOES NOT NEED REHAULS?
Are you a critical extremist? Things aren't perfect or completely broken.

In short, calm down. Jesus.

"...extremely simply storytelling that makes use of only a backdrop."

Yes, says me. I don't believe I was talking as multiple people.

Yes, and he docked off points because of it.

Not true? Okay... maybe not impossible. NIGH impossible is the word.

I know a lot of Fire Emblem fans that are the same way.

Maybe I AM an extremist. Ever watch my VC videos?

I didn't actually read the article. I assumed you would give me the whole selection from the article.

Yes, says me. I don't believe I was talking as multiple people.
I don't believe you were either, but using a pure opinion as an argument is just plain silly. I'm sure an e-writer such as yourself knows that.

Yes, and he docked off points because of it.
Yes, because he felt that something more than a straight sequel is needed when jumping generations.

Not true? Okay... maybe not impossible. NIGH impossible is the word.
Do you really actually know what you're talking about here? You aren't involved in the development process at any point, so don't assume you know the magnitude of the game's text. A lot of games these days have great voice acting.

I know a lot of Fire Emblem fans that are the same way.
The thing is you don't. You're presenting your opinion as a general opinion, and it may or may not be, and you can't claim to know if it is.

Maybe I AM an extremist. Ever watch my VC videos?
No, and I never will Danny-boy.

How are YOU trying to have ANY argument if you didn't even read the whole article?

Not reading the source material is an even worse base for an argument, my friend.

Okay, that I can understand... but do you HONESTLY see Mii-integrating helping a series like Fire Emblem? Tell me "yes" with a straight face.

I KNOW how much text is in two for a few reasons.

1) I've read Japanese translations
2) Even if I wouldn't have done the above, I would have read places that say that there is more text here than in the prequel, and Path of Radiance had a LOT of text.

I don't? And you know this... how?

Mmmkay, Mino.

Anyway... There's one GOOD thing about this review, and hell, ANY review...

It won't influence my enjoyment of the game. It's a freaking 50 HOUR EPIC, and I don't care what a crummy reviewer had to say about it. What irks me is that it may fend off potential buyers. That's my main issue here.

I'm not arguing for or against the game, just your unfair treatment of a review. When did you confuse that?

I don't really know what Mii is, I don't have a Wii.

Just because you've read a translation of a Japanese game doesn't mean you know the amount of time or resources it would take to use voice acting throughout the game. Most of the time spent in the game is on gameplay, not dialogue, so don't try and argue that 50 hours is just too long, the actual hours of recorded dialogue would not be that much. But wait, go back. I said I don't think dialogue even belongs in the game, but the reviewer does.

You can't even begin to argue that because I can't prove that your opinion isn't a majority among players of Fire Emblem doesn't prove that it is, haha.

Hey, how's the social life going. :<
