Hello everyone! I'm Jérémy, nice to meet you!

I finally join this small community that looks very nice (yes, I spied on you secretly for a while :D). My profile is not the most common because I am a boy, I am old, I am French (my worst flaw) and I rediscover Animal Crossing after having played for a long time at WW when I was little.

I did not find the atmosphere that I loved on Horizon, so I bought New Leaf that I discovered for 2 days and that I already love. So I say to myself that it can be nice to have advice and friends on the game, I noticed with surprise that some were still playing it so it's never too late apparently.

Looking forward to meeting you! I apologize in advance for my English which is very uncertain!

Nice to meet you, welcome to the forums! ^^ There's definitely still a lot of love for the older AC games here, and I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying New Leaf! Do you have a favorite villager?

Welcome to the forums Jérémy! 🎉🌟

I'm so glad that even if New Horizons wasn't your style, you found a game you liked in New Leaf! I haven't played New Leaf, but I know lots of people here do. I hope you enjoy it here! 😊

Welcome to the community! I’m glad you’re enjoying New Leaf! I know that game has a different vibe than New Horizons. I think New Horizons is more focused on the design aspect, while the predecessors were focused more on the community feel. I’ll see you around the forum.

Bonjour, Jérémy! Je m'appelle Zelda, et je parle un peu de Français, mais c'est pas le meilleur. Bienvenue dans la communauté d'Animal Crossing! ^^ / Hello, Jérémy! I am Zelda, and I speak a bit of French, but it's not the best. Welcome to the Animal Crossing community! ^^

Thank you all for your welcome, it’s very nice! ^^

Do you have a favorite villager?

Joey (Joseph in French) is definitely my favorite villager, I was lucky to have him in WW and in NH by chance, I love his design and personality. I hope to meet him in NL if possible.

I think New Horizons is more focused on the design aspect, while the predecessors were focused more on the community feel.

That’s exactly it! That’s why I don’t think NH is a bad game but the direction that was taken interests me much less. It's like comparing The Sims 2 and The Sims 4.

Wow bravo et merci beaucoup, tu parles très bien français ! ;)

Bonjour Jérémy! Welcome to TBT!
I'm personally not on NL anymore but looking forward to seeing you around here on the forum 😉

Bonjour et bienvenue au Bell Tree!/Hello and welcome to The Bell Tree!

I'm learning French. :)

Welcome to TBT! I'm learning French as well as some of the other members who've welcomed you! Have been working on it for a number of years, but I'm still more confident in my reading of it than my speaking. :) glad you decided to join and I hope you enjoy it here!

welcome to tbt, jérémy! it’s lovely to meet you. 🧡

i’m super glad that you’ve decided to join us! we’re very happy to have you, and this community is definitely the nicest that i’ve ever been a part of. i hope you’ll like it here! the new leaf community on here isn’t as active as it once was, but there’s definitely still lots of love for it and people who play! i’m happy that you’re loving it so far, and i hope you continue to do so! 😊

Bienvenue, Jérémy. I understand not being able to get into the latest iteration of Animal Crossing. I don't play NL very often, but I'd be happy to jump on and play here and there to help out.

Coincidentally, I've spent a lot of time in France. My wife is originally from there.

Thank you! Don’t worry, it does the same to me with English... I understand it really well but I have a lot of trouble expressing myself. o_O

Thank you so much! Everyone looks really nice indeed! It's OK that people are less active on NL, Animal Crossing remains an excuse to make new acquaintances and broaden our horizons. :)

Seeing many posts about NH here, it almost makes me want to get back to it later!

So cool! Can I ask you where she comes from in France?

If you decide to give it another try, many people here will be happy to help.

She's originally from Tarbes, in the southwest by the Pyrénées. Whereabouts are you from?

I'm pottercrossing. Hope you have a good time here. I'm glad you found you found a game you like in New Leaf. Like @Merielle said, there's still a lot of love for older games here.
