Friday the 13th Survival Kit!​

It's a peaceful Friday like any other, and you're hanging out in your campsite, watching over the visiting animals from your lawn chair. It's a warm, sunny day, and you've just closed your eyes, soaking in the chatter, when you hear a twig snap. "It's nothing, just one of the animals", you think to yourself, but you can't help the wave of trepidation that washes over you.

Opening your eyes, you look out into the woods beyond the campground. Nothing looks out of the ordinary. After a minute, you sit back in your chair, trying to still your racing heartbeat. "It's nothing", you think to yourself. But then you hear it. The rustling of leaves. Your skin pricks with goosebumps. The air is still and sticky and there's not a breeze to be had.

Jumping to your feet, you scan the trees once more, looking for any signs of movement. And then, you see it. Two eyes glowing at you from just beyond the treeline, staring, unmoving. Your blood runs cold as you realize just what day it is. He's here... are you ready?

• Do not simply copy someone else's submission. Be creative!

1: Fairy Bottle for light and a little magicical luck.

2: Sleeping Bag to hide in.

3: Combat Helmet to protect your head from dive bombing bats.

4: Frying Pan to cook vegetation and to use in self defense.

5: Bread Basket to keep those carbs up.

6: Famous Mushroom to be eaten in case of an emergency, to turn you into a giant temporarily.


7: Hiking Boots to protect your feet, and so you can run fast.


8: Poogie as a companion and to help you when needed.


9: Campfire to keep you warm and scare off wild beasts.


10: Lon Lon Milk to keep you hydrated.

1. Sparkling cider: to give me a boost when I drink it. I’d chug it In the blink of an eye.

4. Bunny c. Balloon: I’ll hold on to it with my left hand to float and take aim with the slingshot

5. Safety helmet: as they say, safety first! Plus I can deliver a devastating headbutt.

6. Big-top treats wagon from pocket camp: I can get extra food from there plus if I need to escape I’ll hitch a ride on it down a hill.

7. Capsule-toy machine: it’d be a trap. It’s guaranteed to make anyone addicted including a killer. He’ll be spending his savings all day until he gets that rare prize but for him the grand prize will be a glitter/confetti bomb.

8. Sleeping bag: sooner or later, I’ll be sleepy and take a nap

9. Snow bunny: bunnies make me happy and smile. Will keep me from going crazy.

10. Golf bag: I can use it for storage plus the clubs will be extra weapons.

6. A timer, cause when Friday the 13th is over you need to let all the monsters know it's time to go home. They aren't allowed to bother you after Fri 13th and they know it.
7. Campfire, for light and potentially for fire as a weapoon, also to sit around and play your ukulele and cook hotdogs with the monsters in case they're friendly again. So much versatility.
8. An arrow sign, so you can point it away from your place and maybe they'll follow it
9. A gas mask, you never know when a big fart is gonna happen. And you can't let that slow you down on such a night
10. Afternoon Tea Set, cause if they are friendly and it turns into a party, you don't want to be rude and not be able to serve tea!
