Welcome to Mnemosyne, the deceptively sleepy island town situated in the middle of nowhere in particular.

I'll be your official island rep and tour guide. My name is Crowsie.

Mnemosyne is an okay place to live. Not particularly bustling or busy, but not so sleepy it's boring. Founded just minutes after 9 PM (Thanks, time zones) on March 20 2020, Mnemosyne's seen nothing but constant economic and architectural growth since then. Most recent among them being a state-of-the-art outdoor laundromat!

For when your clothes get wet in the sea.

And a brand new(ish) seafood restaurant!

Don't ask to see any other part of the island. Despite the boom in activity over the last 5 months, most of Mnemosyne is... a complete and total mess.
But it won't be for long! In fact, Resident Rep Crowsie promises (for real this time) that by this time next year, Mnemosyne Island will be at least 10% less of a mess than it was the year before. She swears it!

So keep an eye on us, won't you? Good things are bound to come from the unofficial island of memories.

I'm a long time Animal Crossing fan with a strong nostalgia for my experiences in ACGC. The game was gifted to me during an extremely tough time in my childhood and I latched onto it like a lamprey to an exposed finger. This manifests itself in my attempts to 'recapture' little bits and pieces of my old town, new bark. My town tune is always a cover of the default ACCG tune, and my fruit are always apples. Unfortunately, some of my old animal friends didn't make the leap (I'll miss you Aziz and Penny).

I'm not exactly the 'perfect presentable town' type. Up until yesterday, Mnemosyne was missing half of its river, and I've got far more random flowers than I'd care to admit. I play this game at my own pace, so things stay messy and unorganized for longs periods of time. It only bothers me a bit, since I'm so naturally scatterbrained but I'm sure things will come together in time. That is what AC is about. Taking it day by day and living your life.

It's been a pretty busy week on Mnemosyne! And by busy... I mean I've been frantically re-decorating the island.

I managed to sneak an adorable little punkin patch on some unused land. Maybe I'll spruce it up later.

Dobie had an exciting day today. This morning I caught him out in his yard giving his lilies some much-needed hydration.
His yard's something of an olfactory whiplash. Fragrant lilies on the left, drying fish on the right. I know he's a wolf, but I wonder if his old sniffer can even tell the difference. Maybe he likes it.

I ran into him again later in the evening. It seems he wasn't too taken with my change in clothes.

It's called fashion, grandpa. Look it up.

Grandpa has a problem with falling asleep around town. I know he's old and all, but you'd think he'd have enough wisdom to tell a good napping spot from random spots out in nature.

Grandpa's an old wolf of habit. However...

I did get him to get rid of that shabby umbrella he's always using! Small victories.
