I've always liked peaches. I got pears in NH and was too lazy to try to cycle to get peaches or another fruit. Right now it doesn't matter since perfect fruit isn't a thing and if I wanted to I could replace all the pears with something else.
Not a fruit I miss, but it seems odd to do away with bananas in a tropical island themed game. So I always thought it was in the game or would be coming back. I'm really surprised we're almost a year in and they haven't added any of the other tropical themed fruit in yet.

Gosh I really hope they come out with bananas some day. I miss them a lot! I have peaches and I actually love having them, but it feels like a lot of players have them lol.

My fav is peaches which I have on my island, Guava Bay. I miss the lemons, lychees, durians, and persimmons from NL, and it would have made sense for the tropical fruits to return when it was actually a deserted island.
I think my favorites would be apples and cherries. I picked to have cherries in New Horizons becuase I just loved how they looked when they were perfect in New Leaf, but since they do not have perfect fruit in New Horizons, I sometimes wished I picked apples.

My favorite of all the fruits is the peach, my first native fruit for CF, NL and NH. I especially appreciate the bright golden perfect peach!
As for fruits I want back, I feel like I’m obligated to say all of them, even though I know it’s going to take forever to Thanos snap my coconut trees to replace them with bananas. I need more fruit that are under a forest curse lol

I've always loved the cherries and I was lucky enough to get them as my native fruit on my first try!! I never played NL so I'm not 100% sure on all the other fruit but I would love to have lemons as they're one of my favourites irl 
I like apples the best! I’m not sure why, maybe it’s the colouring? I have a little orchard on my island where I have every fruit tree but I’ve planted some apple trees around my island too, since I love them.
I miss banana trees! I personally hate how the coconuts look. In New Leaf I only have banana trees on my beach so I was pretty bummed when I learned they weren’t included this time. I also miss lemon trees, I liked them quite a bit too!

I've had islands with pears, oranges, apples, and cherries. Oranges are my least favorite since I associate them with tropical climates and I want my island to be more of a temperate climate. So on that island, I have about equal numbers of of the different fruit trees. The apple island was great; I think those trees look pretty. Cherries were okay.
My primary island has pears and is decorated in white and green. I think the pears look nice in that pastel palette design style. Peaches also look pretty.

I would like to have more fruits and vegetables and more recipes with them. The coconut juice is a neat recipe so why aren't there more. Pumpkin pie would be good. And coffee beverages would be neat. The game needs more food plants but more flower and tree types would also be cool.
Apples are my personal favorites. They're also my favorite fruit IRL. I like how they taste, I like how they look, I like them baked in pastries... IDK, I just have a weird fondness for apples in general. And something about them says "cozy small town" to me, so I've always liked them as native fruits! But I got peaches for Woodland, which are my second favorite fruit... in the game and IRL. I actually like all the five basic fruits IRL except cherries- I mean, cherries are cute, I love cherry print stuff and cherry flavoring, but I'm not big on the real fruit. I don't like the pits.
I DO miss the ones from NL and perfect fruits, though. But I'm willing to bet we'll get them back eventually!

Apples, they’re my favorite in real life. I miss the bananas because, tbh, they felt far more “tropical” than the coconuts. Those would look better on my beach.
And like someone else said, I really miss the perfect fruits. They added real flair to the town in NL, and I just know they’d have looked beautiful in NH.
