Leif will usually visit your plaza selling vegetable starts, but until she does, I can give you a stack of each to start you off! Please send a Dodo code the next time you're online and I'll bring some over! 😀
 
Oh thats how you get them, Leif hasn't visited me in weeks. Does he sell flower and sugar too? Theres so many food ingredients I have no idea where to find.

Later on in the game you can make sugar and wheat when you unlock the Recipes DIY usually a few days after K.K. if I remember rightly.
