Fun with the new Toy Day toys

At the beginning of December, there were a couple of threads re: the new Toy Day toys. Now that we're well into December, what have people done with the new toys? I have been having so much fun with them and just love them! They have turned out to be so useful all around my island.

Thank you, everyone, for the lovely feedback. The new toys have spawned a lot of creativity in the community, especially the puppies, and I've really enjoyed watching what folks have done with them.

Your mini city is adorable; I love your creativity. The way you used three different ways to showcase the puppies is superb.

The new toys are indeed great furniture, I also have a similar Godzilla vs Mothra scene going around and the toys added a lot to it. I want to place a tent on the beach, but I haven't figured where yet.

the model city is super cute!! I tried to do some forced perspective with the dollhouses at the back of my island, and of course decided to throw in one of the dinosaur models to add a bit of interest to it haha

Honestly, a forced perspective scene sounds really cool. The back room of my house is a "backyard" and I tried to use a lot of different furniture elements to mimic the look and feel of a backyard. I love using furniture in unusual ways.

Omg! I love it! So colorful and happy! I love when people play with color because color can be intimidating sometimes. I love that you were bold and went for it, pulling from the box of crayons with joy!

Also, I created my island the same as you - a little bit at a time. I've been playing since launch, and after nine months and almost 900 hours of gameplay, I'm still only 2/3 done with my island. It's a slow, fun process, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I love that the game has a longevity and openness to creation about it.

thanks! ive put 1.4k hours into my island, still nowhere near done but its fun trying out different themes each time i redesign it!

Behold! I call it "adventures of a teddy bear"! I love how it turned out, lol.

And the first post has totally inspired me, I think I'll add a tent or two to my campground And maybe give a villager a pet puppy...​

I love it! I love fun and creativity, and you're rockin' both there! You used the Statue of Liberty like I used the Pagoda! Btw, I have managed to accrue another 30 spare parts if you need any to make your robot hero. I play a lot lol. Send me a PM if you would like me to bring you some spare parts, one miniature scene designer to another.
