I don't think it's even possible for them to fix it...
Let me just explain a few things...
Since Nintendo first released the Wii they have been making changes to the system through updates, but people have found that it isn't possible for them to actually change the game through that, such as if anyone here has any launch games from when it was first released, when you press the Wii Remote Settings button on the home screen (While playing a game press the home button) it will make a different noise to when you do he same while on a newer game... Nintendo can't remove early versions of the game, but can only add to them. Another example of this is a launch game won't light up the slot on the Wii when ejected while a newer game will. This means that Bug fixes will never happen.
Hope that's cleared up all this ''GET RID OF THE GRASS FEATURE'' rubbish.
It's simple... IT'S NOT HAPPENING!
