Furniture items from mom?

I keep seeing people asking to tade/ buy/ collect the 'full set' of furniture items from mom, including some candles, a backpack and a tissue box.

My question is how do we even get these? All I've gotten from mom is some fruit, no cool items!

Maybe it has something to do with the flower instead? Not sure.

I only got a fruit too and that was the next day after I moved in.
I'm assuming the people getting all these items Time Travel.
