I'm not sure if you're looking for tips or not but if you aren't ignore the following:
Maybe you can color them with other materials?
Or use a stack of paper underneath the paper you're using so you can make solid colors with your pencil.
Preferably on a page without a fold.
Or experiment with different line thickness? Like eyelashes/nose/mouth/inner eye circle with a thinner lining?

lmao dude, I'm poor I can't buy nice materials. I used eraseable crayola color pencils. My page is folded because It's a project for school, and I folded it over so I wouldn't get ruined. I only had one thin tip black market. Lol. And I colored on a flat table. I don't usally ever color. Tbh. Lol. Thanks though I guess.
