Eventually, we reach the palace gate. I press the button for a guard to let us in.

"State your name and business."

"Athene task force 64, banquet with President Mina."

"…Opening gates now."

The gates automatically opened, and we walked down the long, wide walkway lined with statues of past presidents.

I look around, playing with my long white hair as I take in the sights. "Being a human, I know all of these presidents like the back of my hand!" I mumble off. "Well... Most of them... Sometimes I dozed off in world history class..."

"Yeah," I say, beginning to walk up some of the steps. Fountains came out from every wall, creating a moat-like structure about the palace. I come to the door, and begin to knock.

I notice the moat and stand as far from it as possible. Nein nein nein nein nein nein nein nein nein....

I walked slower than the others, paying more attention to our surroundings as we walked down the walkway and up the steps.

A butler came and answered the door.

"Madame Mina will be here shortly. For now, please sit at the table by the porch."

The butler motioned to a door to his right. We walked through the castle, into the door, and found ourselves in the porch of a lovely garden. A large fountain lay in the middle of the garden, and the table was set. I took my seat towards the end, where the president would sit.
