Hey. Been wanting to play different, 'new' game recently. I've played a handful of games for years without stopping, and i'm kind of burned out from them for playing them pretty much non stop for such a long time, and I kind of suck at all of them. Some games I won't get tired of, but I really need something new to play.

What are some good Nintendo games you'd recommend? I might try it out, but it depends lol

Draqon Quest XI was awesome, try Marble it Up or Super Monkey ball. Breathe of the Wild is of course amazing, along with Mario Kart 8 and Mario Party. Smash is great.

I'd suggest Paper Mario: The Origami King. Decent game, unique battle style, and the difficulty curve isn't too steep, even though I've never made it past going down the river, but that's just me, it's still a good game

Puyo Puyo Tetris is a fun puzzle game, it has a demo so you can give it a go for free!

Are we just talking about Switch games? If so, Dragon Quest XI is fantastic! I also love Dragon Quest Builders 2. Of course, Breath of the Wild, and also Super Mario Odyssey!

I third the recommendation for Dragon Quest- I only played the demo recently, but I just ordered it from Amazon. The demo, by the way, is EXTREMELY long- I got around 60 hrs of gameplay out of it. You should definitely check it out & download the demo if you're interested.

Other recs:
Fire Emblem: Three Houses - this game absolutely rules. if you have even a passing interest in FE, you should check this out.
Octopath Traveler - a game that was super hyped when it came out & but now... it's not quite hidden yet, but it's a gem. if you don't mind 90s pixel-style JRPG graphics, this is a great game. Also has a demo on the eShop totaling up to about 5hrs of gameplay.
Okami HD- I haven't beaten this one yet, but it's got stunning graphics & fun gameplay. Incredible for a Wii port.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Remastered - I had no idea what to expect from this title & I loved this game. Great for people who like logic puzzles & cute anime characters. Great character interaction & dialogue. + It's very fun to yell "OBJECTION" at Edgeworth lol.
ARMS - specifically chosen b/c you like Splatoon. ARMS has really pretty graphics and addictive online gameplay like Splatoon. The similar art style drew me in at first. Not much of a single-player campaign, but Splatoon players are accustomed to that.

I hope one of these is what you were looking for! I'm always expanding my games library :p

Any genres you don’t like or particularly vibe with? And yeah, Switch only?
No, it can be across pretty much any Nintendo platform since I enjoy pretty much any of their consoles.
One genre I definitely don't particularly enjoy is Turn-based strategy, and tactical rpg, aka FE lol. Not my cup of tea.

Oh oof, you probably won’t like DQXI or Octopath Traveler as they’re both turn based.

I’m not sure what genres you like so here’s a broad list:

I’d recommend Astral Chain and Xenoblade Chronicles (either 1 or 2) for action/rpgs!

also Luigi’s Mansion, Super Mario Odyssey, Cuphead for action/adventure

enter the gungeon (bullet hell), cadence of hyrule (rhythm adventure game), cytus alpha (pure rhythm), stardew valley (farming/building), baba is you (interesting puzzles)

maybe rocket league to scratch that online multiplayer itch? I haven’t played it on the switch, but it’s fun and runs well on PS4!
