  • oh yeah, when i was re-reading kat's older posts -- i finally understood what she was saying when she DID reply lol, she mentioned that ace was the one that was pinging her but that it was weak etc.
  • the only thing i find off specifically now is that post i quoted earlier regarding antonio where she seems to scumread the one thing she called antonio towny for initially? honestly i thought what antonio did initially was towny too so i'm confused.
  • i do think she's skilled enough to generate content as she has thus far as mafia, BUT
    

• I wasn't all too surprised to see a volt kill ngl? Their last post had a really genuine tone. Though I would have imagined an Endless kill would have been better. Someone who had no suspicion on him who was contributing to thread.

  • this post throws me, because mafia likely killed volt for one of the following reasons:
    • volt's towniness
    • volt's reads
    • volt's ability to read someone accurately (i.e. strong familiarity with a certain player)
    • for WIFOM
  • i'm inclined to think it's one of the last 3, i don't think volt was particularly widely townread but my problem is that i also don't think that they were formulating their reads in a strong enough way to start a bandwagon on kat?
  • i guess it'd be nice to hear who volt is most familiar with here???
  • anyway the reason i quoted this from kat was it would be kind of weird to state that she wasn't surprised about the volt kill when others have stated the exact opposite, it just makes her stick out and i fail to see how that would paint her in a good light if she is mafia

i'm not necessarily gonna complain if kat gets lynched, because i think she does have some bad lines which are iffy at best. ("i mean if yall have something to ask me..." from d1 is an example of one i hated) but the thing is.......she hasn't really been around to direct/guide the thread nor defend herself, nor has anyone defended her???? idk i just don't really see a strong agenda from her

First of all, I want to say that this exactly the kind of post I wanted out of you glow, and I'm sorry if I got on your nerves to get it. I'll respond to the portions I think need addressing, but ftr don't really scumread you anymore. (Since reasoning stated fills the gaps that I couldn't ramify myself, with a crack that feels kinda genuine.)
This is ultimately what I wanted originally when I asked.

Misinterpretation on my part, allow me to explain.
You initially responded to me and stated that the only pertinent point epona made was to do with the hesitancy, which I took to mean "my reasoning for voting was outside of the hesitancy". In my defense, I cleanly stated this assumption and it took you this long to state that it was wrong.

My point wasn't that "can'ts wait to read later" "damn there's nothing" = TOWN, but instead that your reasoning was the "damn there's nothing" post was weird/unexpected. (And epona provided evidence that it wasn't unexpected, and that if anything it would've been weirder for them to not make it.)
I'm not saying it's a town post - I absolutely detest that sort of post, but don't think it's alignment relevant. But you didn't point out that post and claim that it was structured weirdly, you pointed at it and said it didn't make sense for dedenne to post. (Which it did.)
You absolutely could've brought this up at the start of day 2, but I had to essentially tunnel you to get it out of you.

Honestly, do I think you fabricated the read on dedenne? No. Not anymore - not even sure I was convinced you did even while I was applying a lot of pressure to you. I was just struggling to figure out your thought process and was committed to pushing you until I did - I do more or less now.

So to summerise, my new interpretation as to your stance on your day 1 lynch is "You read through dedenne and you found their tone off, you attempted to describe aspects of their play that you thought gave you this feeling, and posted that as your initial push."
Once again, and as always, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Like honestly the quip about my posting style is whatever, the comment about my actual play is also not hugely relevant but.......

Can you please demonstrate one read I've had that matches this? The only player I shared on a read on for different reasons was my townread on Antonio that was shared by Kat, and I never scumread Kat.
I just.. find it difficult to understand this read in any way, shape, or form.
I'm going to need some follow up from epona.

i am actually more inclined to say endless is mafia over kat, because he seemed to push on me to see how much traction it would gain but has since not really taken his other reads anywhere, he seems complicit in kat dying so i think that if kat does flip town he might be mafia just from the fact that he hasn't really spoken on this lynch and instead has hyperfocused on me and now seems to pivot toward EPONA, who is probably one of the last players here that are up to be on the chopping block

I think is a little too late to bring everyone back to discuss this. But it can be a good observation for tomorrow, Idk what to think of Endless, I don't mind someone trying to control the narrative if we are smart to not follow it if its wrong, which I think it is at the moment.

What if mog was maf and subbing now means the maf spot is protected as nobody is going to vote for her? Does this reduce their chance of being caught by 33%. She has been coasting by if her tbt profile says she was online but not participating in the game.

endless was the first to mention volt’s sus on kat and claimed he townread her bc of the possibility of framing, thus it couldn’t be her.

Fairly sure you'll find I said the kill was "town if anything". AKA I absolutely wouldn't read into it being evidence for kat being mafia - which is precisely what you've done.

I literally can't be bothered re-writing all of this so I'm stealing from my recap:
First portion of relevance (about half way through the day) was Antonio suggesting to lynch by rng. This was quickly shot down, and Antonio claimed it was a joke. (This by itself isn't very relevant, but it comes up again later.)

Antonio went on to ask everyone to guess a number between 1 and 10, then voted for volt when he volt picked 6.
Essentially, he went back to rnging a lynch after stating that he'd only done it as a joke earlier.
This rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, and a wagon formed on Antonio. (This happened in the last hour before EOD)

Kat scumread Antonio based on the latter rng attempt, and townread him for the former. Completely consistent behaviour.
The only legitimate reason for voting Kat atm is Aerious's - Kat stated they scumread Aerious but opted to vote a TR over those two options.
That being said, I don't think this is all that strong of a reason.
