I am seriously thankful to people who take the time and effort to cycle for no personal profit - if I had the ability to get 2 DSes & games (the used console/game market is not big here) I would seriously consider doing it, since I like seeing different villagers and it's just a nice thing to do. I'm sorry you guys have to put up with demanding people, and please try not to feel pressured - I think it's pretty obvious that cyclers are abnormally nice, and you don't owe anyone anything. I really hate it when people demand villagers, especially high-value ones, that no one is obliged to give away.
OK, vague rant over. I've told off a few people elsewhere for being jerks so it's something that bothers me.

Haha, I've literally reserved 4 villagers over the time I've cycled.. Claudia, who was for my best friend.. Skye who was for me, but I gave for my best friend again.. Chief, for someone to hold while I reset for my Star Fox town.. And Merengue, who was for a friend who I promised Merengue too..
But 'cos people saw those reservations, they PM'd me saying that I should either not reserve those villagers and get 'em my own way, or let everyone reserve whatever they want
I gave them absolutely no response :L

I dislike villager auctions/trades. I mean, sometimes you help someone out and they help you out, but sometimes the villager just keeps getting sold without a real home. Plus it's really unfair to a villager to make money off of them, they have no say about it. All they want is a loving new home and instead they are treated like slaves.

And would probably literally cry if they left me.
Stitches makes me laugh out loud. Wolfgang is actually surprisingly sweet.

People are just entitled. The no reservations thing is pretty obvious, it's such a pain to wait for people all day and not make progress. Cycling is all about making it through that volume - and if the cycler reserves it for personal reasons - so? They have all the right to. Would you rather the cycler just pack up, go "ok then I WON'T cycle any OTHERS?" I'm just glad you can take it in your stride and dismiss it, Hound00m (should I call you Sean? I feel that that's a bit too personal...). I've seen some people get really stressed out about it, but death threats are more common on tumblr and it just gets out of hand so quickly.
I understand auctions and trades in the sense that it's a gateway to getting what they ultimately want, and some people enjoy experiencing new villagers and letting them move as they desire up till their final dream villager. I'm definitely not keen on the resale route. Then again, I don't make a ton of Bells, so I guess I'm not in that zone of understanding, haha.

It gets insane because people can send anon messages and sometimes the ladies cycling are just too vulnerable and kinda self-loathing enough not to close their ask-boxes, so yes, I've seen people tell others to 'go die' under anonymity. Thankfully there're a fair amount of us who also go "that's ridiculous stop that" but it just goes to show how idiotic people can be about how much they deserve a villager just because they want it. Enough to stomp on other people's kindness and emotions.
If you do go through Julian on the way to Beau, let us know so perhaps I might go to bed! I am enjoying the conversation, this forum is so nice that it's the only one I've felt comfortable posting in.
