Getting fruit from island tours?

Has anyone gotten more then 1 different kind of fruit from their island tour? I've only seen 1 other fruit different from my native fruit? I'm wondering if you have to visit other players islands to get all the fruit.

I have gotten my native fruit all but once so far. The only non native fruit I have gotten have been cherries, and there were a LOT of them too!

I’ve also only gotten one type of fruit on the tours, never mixed. It would be nice to find an island with different types of fruit available though. Usually I get my regular native cherry island or a full single fruit island where every tree is a fruit tree.

I should clarify, my native fruit is pears...I have gotten pears all but once...the one time the island didn't have pears it was cherries and there were a million of them.

Ah, so it seems like you can only get one type of different fruit from island tours. I got the others from trading with my brother but it sucks for people that don't have the Nintendo Switch online service. I wonder if you can still get fruit from doing tasks for your villagers or if your mom will send you more random fruit.

I've seen pears, coconuts, bamboo, and oranges so far. It's completely random.
I have all the fruits now. Sadly a lot were cut from New Leaf, hopefully they add more in future updates.
