Thank you for hosting this, what a cute idea! Had a lot of fun reading some of the entries so far

Honestly this is so very hard, as I have soooo many amazing memories because of this game. Now that the game's been out for a few months, my sister and I have come up with creative ways to hang out with our friends. Every Sunday evening we host a game night on my sister's island, filled with prizes and different types of games. We have competitive games, casual games, player vs player, and a whole lot in between. Every week my sister and I would get ready for the game nights, terraforming the island with new arenas and and game areas to accommodate our ever-growing list of games. Generally the parties run 1-2 hours and it's been the ultimate way we get to hang out with all our friends during the pandemic. I think my most memorable experience would have to be a specific game we came up with, we called it peach vs cherry. We separated our friends into two groups, gave them some starting pitfall seeds and various tools, and the idea of the game was to guard the tree from the other team, and whichever team gets their tree's fruit stolen loses. To make it fair my sister and I were judges and we moved our friends into 2 separate voice channels on Discord so they could collaborate and it was sooo interesting/hilarious hearing everyone work as a team to come up with funny/innovative ways to win. (Our friends were not necessarily friends with each other yet so it was a great ice -breaker too!) It's kind of hard to explain I'm sorry if it makes no sense reading this but my favorite thing ever is having a weekly party in AC with my friends.

Wow, this is an amazing giveaway! I'm excited to share my story! (*^▽^*)

In 2016, my sisters and I were obsessed with our 3DS's! We had gotten them in 2014, and we mainly played Nintendogs + Cats and Mario Cart. We were particularly sheltered kids who went to a private school, so we didn't know much about other games. We were trapped in our own little bubble, but soon it was going to pop. My sister Jen saw an ad for Animal Crossing: New Leaf 'Welcome Amiibo!' in the Nintendo store. She got so excited and showed us the ad. As soon as we saw it, we all decided that we would pitch in a little money so we could buy a physical copy of the game at the local game shop. We bought it used, so we had to go through the trial of deleting the previous save file who had tastefully named their town Buttville. We settled on Oakboro, because the irl town we live in ends in boro and we had a giant oak tree that we walked past every day when we went home from school. We appointed Jen as the mayor because she was the one who had shown it to us, so she has been the mayor of our town and island ever since. In 2017, I found the Bell Tree Forums. I was too shy to join because I thought that I wouldn't know how things worked, but I finally joined in 2019. Animal Crossing was the bridge into my new life, I wasn't going to be left out of all the excitement on the internet anymore, and I wasn't going to be so naive and think that things only happened in my town. I grew up because of Animal Crossing, and I'm not sure what I would have become if it weren't for this lovely community and game.

tysm for this! one of my favourite memories is when i first got wild world - i was little and so my memory is a bit foggy but i remember just feeling so clueless and excited to have something new. i also remember the first ever villager i encountered and that when i first got yelled at by resetti, i thought he was my friend lmao

It's pretty recent, but a memory that brings me great joy is when I had my sister visit my island and she ran right over a pitfall I had buried, unsuspecting :') I caught it on video and still laugh at it every time I rewatch it

oh man sliding in last minute! this is really kind of you guys and i'd love to enter!
my favorite animal crossing memory was probably starting up new leaf for the first time. when i was younger, my parents never let us have gaming equipment (gameboy, ds, wii, etc.), so i never played any games when i was a kid. when i was like 17 i bought myself a ds on ebay and a copy of animal crossing new leaf and played it secretly for YEARS. i think just starting up my first game ever was a really amazing moment for me, and it just happens that that first game was ac c:
