Yes, the shoes matter. I don't think this matters either but I had emo-like brown hair. I don't think hair matters though if you're wearing a hat.

Gracie is really a he, but they call her a she in the non japanese versions because alot of people in America hate Gays and Transexuals.

im not to fond of gracie whatsoever, o i make my own stuff and match with random hats from the ables, thats much more fun. and no i havnt seen her in cf yet, mainly do to the fact that i rarely enter that over priced (insert some form of insult currently escaping me at the moment)

So she gives one of those 'back-handed compliments' (or something else, not sure). It's when she compliments you on something, but then neutralizes the feeling of the compliment by giving 'helpful advice'. That's bizarre. I've never really spoke to her when I visit her store.

I go in, buy what I need, look around for anything to buy in the future, then leave. I have no time to chit-chat with a NPC who isn't in my town =P
