Grass types?

I feel like there's only one type of grass type this time around. Triangles.
I don't mind that since I wanted triangles in the first place, but what do you think? Is there any screenshots of the grass NOT being triangles?

in every single review video i've seen it's been triangles, which i find extremely strange, i never thought that they would get rid of the different shapes! i'm just waiting to see for myself when i get the game

Yes, it's very strange... I hope they added the options of different grass types because they're no reason not to? But I do remember I think in the first video they showed at E3 the grass types [still triangles] were very sparse and wasn't that noticeable at all.

Triangles are my favorite but I highly doubt they got rid of all the shapes. There doesn't seem to be a reason they would, at least.

So far just triangles. Which doesn't bother me at all. It isn't something that I would be thinking about while walking around the island.

I'm hoping to get confirmation about this either way. Circle grass is one of the things I would reset for, though I'm fine with triangle if that's all that's available (and I don't mind triangle to begin with - it's really just the square grass I dislike).

If we've only seen triangle grass from EVERY piece of gameplay, no matter the source, I'd be concerned. And to my knowledge so far, that's been the case.

Triangles are my favorite but I highly doubt they got rid of all the shapes. There doesn't seem to be a reason they would, at least.

Also to mention, at least in my opinion, the grass pattern is much more faded in this game and will most likely be covered my furniture, weeds, plants, etc. so it shouldn't be a big problem, something we will probably adapt to. But yes removing the shapes is a strange change they possibly decided to make.

I don't really know, but I think it would be cool if the grass type changes with the seasons, or if you could unlock it later on in the game

considering we have only seen triangle grass it seems like that's all there is. i think it's really weird that they would make that change but yeah. it's a fun thing that makes your town/island just a little bit more unique so i'm sad it is (seemingly) gone

I guess it was easier to make the textures look nice without having to worry about the other shapes?

Ya snow has always been a different shape than our usually grass pattern, at least in the past couple games

Oh gosh.. I never even noticed that there were different grass shapes at all. Now I'm going to be nit picky about this til I hear more.

It does seem a little strange that we have only seen one type of grass. I like triangle grass, but I would be a tiny bit disappointed if it was the only available grass type.

Since some people have the game now, any updates on the grass shapes? I always hated the triangle grass while being okay with the other shapes and it's bugged me in Pocket Camp enough at this point that I'm stuck with triangles there. Has anyone seen any non-triangle grass so far? I mean, I am fully preparing to reset for weeks again for a perfect map anyway, but since grass is the most important thing to me and I will only get my game next Tuesday, the wait for grass-information is killing me.

I've watched 9 different "first day' playthrus on YouTube. Each one had triangle grass. That doesn't confirm anything but, you'd think I would have seen a different grass type by now if that was in the game.
