I'm surprised no one mentioned fruit stripes from childhood or ouch...

I go for Peppermint gum if I'm going to chew now. I don't chew anymore. And I don't care for spearmint. But as a teen I liked Bubble Yum Gum which has a goose mascot.

I used to like chewing gum but I don’t chew them that often nowadays. It’s not that I’ve grown to dislike them… I’m more neutral. I love mint and fruit flavours!

I like minty gum, but I don’t really buy gum very often. Sometimes I feel like I want to have the fruit flavoured bubblegum we had as kids. 🤣

I like most gums except for peppermint. It tastes like toothpaste.

My favorite flavors are usually blue raspberry or cinnamon.

Mint and the regular pink flavor are my go-to when I don’t feel like thinking.

I'm not huge on gum, chewing it sometimes gives me headaches, but it's nice on occasion! I love chiclets and blow pops.

I haven't chewed gum in a number of years now, but when I used to and if I ever do again, I'm fine with fruity, cinnamon, cotton candy or plain bubblegum. Gumballs are cool too; I have a gumball machine that I haven't used since childhood.

This thread has got me reminiscing about the various favorite gums throughout my youth.

Hubba Bubba Bubble Tape was fun.

Yes to all three of these! Cotton Candy flavored Bubble Yum was one of my favorites back in the day.

I have fond memories of Ouch! and Fruit Stripe. I associate them with childhood trips to Toys R Us. The Ouch! brand, while questionably named in retrospect, was cool because of that gimmick of it being a tin of gum sticks with how they were packaged like band-aids. I seem to recall it tasting good. I think I liked Fruit Stripe better flavorwise, but they were both good.

I also fondly remember the Tongue Splashers gumballs that would make your tongue whatever color the gumball was; I don't recall how the flavors stacked up against other brands, but I remember the color effect and the distinct logo and packaging.

Straight up no. Not a fan of gum at all,

However bubble gumice cream is amazing, is possibly my favorite flavor honestly any other kinda gum is s huge pass for me.

I don't enjoy gum just because of having to spit it out when you're done.

Update, I bought gum today after reading this thread. Should have bought bubblegum though. Regret. 😮‍💨

When I was younger, I used to always go for cinnamon, because it was fun and I enjoyed the flavor. I did briefly go through a watermelon phase as well. But now I stick with Orbitz Cool Mint because it has a nice chewy texture to it, and the chewiness/gummyness lasts for a long time, and it makes my breath nice a fresh =)

Mint because its cool and fresh. I also care more about the smell of my breath at times so it helps too. As a child I used to eat the fruity kinds like watermelon but now I only pick any mint varieties, preferably spearmint (hierbabuena)

i used to love chewing fruit or candy flavoured gums when i was little. i looooved hubba bubba tape omg but nowadays i chew gum pretty infrequently and only if i feel the need to freshen up my breath (especially after if i've had a meal or something out of the house!)
