Guys, I don't know how to say this but... I'm bored of Animal Crossing.

Ever since I got my dreamies, I've been feeling like there's nothing to do anymore.
And looking at the leaks for X and Y just makes me want to give up Animal Crossing more and more...

Switch up your dreamies, go and collect all the bugs, sets, fossils, fish.. Get your dreamies' pictures!
Then after that, tell me you're bored.

^I don't know, I spend most of my time at school or places where there ISN'T WiFi.
It'd be hard to get items I need since most forums I'm on are usually active at 3-6PM.

it's perfectly fine. i find that taking a small break from animal crossing and then returning to it makes it more interesting rather than playing it each and every single day

Get your dreamies' pictures and rotate them out. Surely there are other villagers you'd love to have. That's what I plan to do with some of mine. Also, you can make some more characters, pay off, and decorate their houses. Dress up your town with some landscaping. Set some more goals!

Were you referring to me?
I mean collect the sets yourself. It's no fun when you buy it for 400K.

Oh wow, completely forgot about my alt.
Looks like Haruhi's getting a bigger house soon.
Time to work on my Endless Eight house!

well getting dreamies isn't the only thing to look forward to in the game. catch bugs, get more pwp's, fish, keep paying loans until you get a huge house, collect items, decorate your town, etc. then there's plenty of things to do c:

I agree I feel like throwing my game out the window since every time I don't go on for more than 2 days my favorite villagers randomly move :/ like what is this sorcery :(((

They have feelings too. They are saddened and hurt when you don't visit.

If you are bored, then take a break from it. That's what I did. I think I had a week and a half to a two week break. Came back to it and have been playing it like a crazy person. And that was when I decided that I needed Velma's picture, Lucky's picture, and Beardo's picture.

I don't see what the big deal is with getting bored of a game... with most games, that's just when you come to the decision that you're done with it. Are people that afraid of getting condemned for not enjoying such a hyped-up game? I'm starting to get sick of New Leaf, but for a different reason entirely that isn't relevant to this thread. But yeah, if you want to stop playing, then stop. If you want to continue, find the motivation within yourself to continue. Playing a game shouldn't feel like a chore afterall.

I took a break to play Fire Emblem almost nonstop. I"m back to AC now though. I'm trying to collects ALL THE THINGS! lol

I took about 3 weeks off then completely restarted.. loving my new town and I play everyday again
