So how are excited are you guys for the gyroids? I'm making myself an orchestra when they're here

Never thought I'd say this, but I actually can't wait to discover all of them!

The designs and way they are animated is SO CUTE/DIFFERENT compared to previous games. I was never really into gyroids aside from helping out Brewster but this makes me excited!!

explains Why they’re always found after rain but… watering shards to grow a gyroid feels wrong. like it’s illegal.

I like their appearance in New Horizons. They’re kind of smaller and cuter in this game. I think it’s weird about growing them though. I don’t understand the whole growing concept. I think just digging them up would be fine, but I like that they are trying something new.

i honestly never really cared for gyroids in previous games, but i’ve wanted them so badly in new horizons and i’m so excited that they’re actually coming!! i’m not too sure how i feel about having to grow them, but i’ve got no complaints. they look adorable and i’m very happy!

also, i’m not sure why but this one immediately reminded me of an axolotl, so i’m extra excited for this lil guy:

I love the fact that they are customizable. This was a small detail but I love how you can fit them to your island aesthetic! I think this was a crucial detail and Nintendo really didn’t disappoint with this one. Customization is super important!

I've never been into them, still am not, and they will just make finding fossils more awkward.

I hope they grow on you Moritz!

I'll admit that I didn't care for most of them in past games, but I think that the hability to customize them, to place them outside and on top of furniture is going to change how a lot of us use them

I love their look *way* more in New Horizons than in previous games. Honestly, I didn't love them before, but now I do! And they're customisable!

I've always loved gyroids... so much. It bummed me out so much that the limit was 4 per room in New Leaf, since I put literally as many as I could fit in my basement in GCN!

I'm excited! I never was a huge fan of gyroids until New Horizons didn't have them.

Oh my gosh I'm so excited for them! Their new designs are adorable, and I can't wait to collect all of them (also love the new mechanic of finding fragments and then growing them) and add them to different areas of the island. I also LOVE that they are customizable!

I am SO excited for them!!! They are so adorable!!! I actually (unpopular opinion) really enjoyed the old designs but these are adorable too. I hope there are a whole ton of them to collect! When I played ACNL back in the day I completed my collection with duplicates and had a little gyroid shop on this forum lol. Not too many people liked gyroids /cared for them back then but I think they'll be super popular now, so I'm excited to maybe revive that!

I wasn't a huge fan of the gyroid designs in previous games (except for in pocket camp). These ones look adorable! I'm excited!

I first saw them in Pocket Camp, so I'm glad they've brought it back again. It was so cool to collect them during event seasons in Pocket Camp.
