Halloween 2021 unlocked

I'm fine with Halloween not getting anything added really, I do wish the villagers had more costumes coded for them to wear. The animal/monster outfit really isn't that impressive slapped on just about everyone.

I still can’t get in to Halloween which is super annoying. I have plans tomorrow evening so I wanted to play it tonight. Monday after work just won’t be as fun. I’ll probably play it tomorrow morning but it’s more fun to play it at night when it’s dark outside and spookier.

I agree. It’s a little odd that the animals look similar and are mostly wearing animal costumes. Some of them have imp horns though, maybe.

Thank you! It reminded me to join this year. I have to go ahead and time travel back to October. I missed last year’s event and last year’s emotes. Hoping to get them this year! I have a lot of candy prepared!

For those who are still having issues, it should be unlocked for all time zones now that have reached 5am 10/31. In the future, remember that timelocked events cannot be accessed simply by TTing using date/time changes— you need to change your actual time zone to one that has already hit 5am on the day the event is suppose to unlock (i.e. the earliest ones, like Auckland, Sydney, Tokyo, etc). Remember, 5am is when a new day starts in the game, so that is when timelocked dates officially open.

After you change time zones, if an event occurs later in the day (Jack shows up at 5pm for Halloween), then you need to change the time to match, just as you would for normal TTing.

I played it, it was cute. The same as last year so no new surprises but made for a nice change than a usual evening on the game.

I’m surprised they locked it this year, I don’t think they did last year? I thought turkey day was the first seasonal holiday they locked but I could be wrong

Thank you for the reminder! I was able to complete it this year. I had missed out the opportunity last year and didn’t get to experience it. I already had all the diy, but I was missing the emotes. I received them today!

Its 6pm for me, i had a fun time on my island trick or treating but sadly its the exact same as last year.

I ended up playing this afternoon to get the last of the Spooky Series DIY’s. It turned out I didn’t need many at all and completed it within an hour before I started getting repeated items that I didn’t need.
