Happy Pride Month! Any plans?

What are your plans for pride month? I don't have everything sorted out yet, but I might go to a drag performance later in the month.

mm, im not really out to anyone except my friends. partially cuz im still ???? over my identity, but yea. SO i'm not really doing anything eventful but i'm going to have a good summer and celebrate pride online!

I plan on asking the guy who seems to have a crush on me (so many indicators, it's crazy) if he is gay and if he does have a crush on me, if he isn't I would be shocked but if he is gay and doesn't have a crush on me it would be nice having a gay friend who I can help out. I assume he's closeted and scared that people might look at him differently, his friend group is macho (and really insensitive) tbh and he is somewhat as well.

It could be a new relationship, whether that be a boyfriend or a friend.


I also plan on having a LGBT+ film binge watch when I'm not worrying about something else. This month is hectic for me and everyone around me!

I don't know what else I could do tbh, still sitting on the planning stages. lol

In Texas we don't really have a parade until September because of the heat. But! I'm going to be hanging around the local gayborhood probably. There's bound to be a lot of cool events there during Pride month.

to celebrate pride month this year ive blacklisted like 5 different tags linked to ace discourse and lgbt drama on tumblr because apparently pride month means that it’s time for the old and annoying discourse to flare up again

stockholm pride is usually at the end of july or beginning of august but ive nevr gone and dont plan on going this year either so it’s whatever to me. i dont do well in loud, crowded and warm places for long periods of time so pride parades seem like a bit of a nightmare for me tbh.

but i guess i’m going to be annoyed at cishets going to pride to be... like That lol, im so done w it

This probably sounds really pretentious but the pride month kind of lets me feel content with being gay. Even though I'm not planning to completely come out anytime soon it's a nice feeling.

I don't have any plans really but I'm just sending my virtual support to people.

Otherwise my local Pride doesn’t happen until July (in the dead of summer why) and I don’t really have anybody to go with, so I probably won’t go.

Not much. I'd like to go to a parade, but just living in the area I do makes me anxious as it is. My boyfriend and I get honked at all the time walking down the road & people, for some reason, really love to start driving towards us while we're in the midst of crossing the street. I don't think I can handle a huge crowd with the potential for violence to erupt.
