Once when I was starting a new town, I got a villager that I really didn't like so I sent her a letter saying how terrible she was. A day after, I talked to her and she showed me the letter saying something along the lines of "This is what started our beautiful friendship!"
I laughed so hard because it contained a TON of bad words and she didn't care cx

this isn't necessarily an acnl story but when my brother and i shared the same acgc town when we were little kids he constantly swore up and down that he couldn't enter his house because tom nook and the raccoon goons had repo'd his house and he was homeless. i didn't know what to make of it being 6 or 7 at the time and i was always scared that would happen to me...which led me to pay off my house out of fear and my brother eventually told me he'd just gotten rid of his save file because he was bored of the game but that's always pretty funny to me
