Has anyone actually completed this Nook mile achievement?

Yes, There are exactly 5 wasps on your island per day. Assuming you have the trees available. I was rather shocked when I managed to catch all of them in a row. I’m not the most skilled at catching wasps. Good luck if you intend to go after this achievement!
Yeah, it's basically five wasps over whatever time period, but in a row, without being stung.
A good way I did it is to shake the tree from the front while holding your net. The nest will fall to the left or the right. Your character will automatically turn to face the nest/wasps. Because you are already holding your net, simply press A and catch them. Good luck!

imagine if they added new challenges like “shake [x amounts] wasp nests on your island within 20 minutes and catch all of them in a row.”
it would be hectic fun to try it

I got that very easily earlier on. If that's the only one you have left you are pretty lucky! I'm struggling catching 3000 bugs and fish XD
Yes and I didn't even know it existed at the time. I was just shaking trees and I try to catch the wasps but i almost always miss a few. That day I got all 5 and the achievement. I'm missing a bunch of achievements but the toughest one for me will be the catching x amount of fish without missing. I am horrible about pulling the bobber too soon.
i did! i don’t remember how exactly i went about it but i remember that i achieved it fairly early on in the game. i second @Mairen’s suggestion about having the net equipped while you shake trees, though; i’m never successful in catching the wasps unless i have my net out once the nest drops,, probably because i’m not the quickest at equipping tools, though lol.

also yes, wasps are easy af to catch in this game. just stand at the bottom part of the tree with your net ready and hit 'a' right after your character reacts to the nest

Hold your net. Stand IN FRONT of the tree and shake it. As soon as the wasp nest falls, hit the A button. You will catch the wasp every time.

I got that achievement once I heard about it. I did take a few tries but I got it eventually. Oh yeah there is one achievement where you have to get 8 items in a hitting rock in 1 go. Good luck!

I did mine by Island hoping trying to get the item to fall from the tree.
I haven't completed all of them ^^;
What I meant was, I have all the achievements apparent on my Nook phone because I've done the achievement partially, but only one was blank/missing, so I searched online on what it was.
Bugs are the worst! I managed to catch all the fish and and sea creatures, but I still have like 12 bugs to catch >.>

I meant that all of the other achievements were apparent on my nook phone because I've either done the achievement partially or completely but that one achievement was completely blank and I didn't know how to fill it until I searched it up.
