Has anyone actually completed this Nook mile achievement?

I did. I think it helps to have your net out, make sure the area around the tree is clear...then stand kind at an angle to one side. Then when the bee hive drops, mash your button and it should just auto snag them before they fly at you. Your character already turns towards the beehive when it drops, so unless something obstructs it falling and it gets sent somewhere random...you can kinda just cheese it.

Oh, gosh, ages ago. When I was just starting out I shook every tree every day, not just for furniture, but also for those valuable wasps that really helped me save bells in the early days! I'm nowhere near completing a lot of other achievements, but I got that one. I don't think you -need- to travel to mystery islands for it, but I also don't think it hurts.

Personally, I find it easier to stand DIRECTLY in front of the tree, with net out. Then, as soon as it drops, hit the A button IMMEDIATELY. BOOM, wasp! No need to mash anything, hit it right away, and you got it.

you've actually caught 5000 fish and bugs?

also yes, wasps are easy af to catch in this game. just stand at the bottom part of the tree with your net ready and hit 'a' right after your character reacts to the nest
I wish I would have done this before!

I haven't gotten the achievement yet for the same reason I haven't gotten the one for when you catch 100 fish in a row: I tend to mess up near the end. It may help if I actually shook trees to find the wasps too (haven't been meticulous about it in a while).

That's essentially what I mean haha. I just think mashing A is cathartic when you already have wasp anxiety.:sneaky:😊

That's what auto-save is for. Just quit when you miss a fish.

I haven't completed all of them ^^;

What I meant was, I have all the achievements apparent on my Nook phone because I've done the achievement partially, but only one was blank/missing, so I searched online on what it was.

Bugs are the worst! I managed to catch all the fish and and sea creatures, but I still have like 12 bugs to catch >.>

No xD

I meant that all of the other achievements were apparent on my nook phone because I've either done the achievement partially or completely but that one achievement was completely blank and I didn't know how to fill it until I searched it up.
ah this makes more sense, I would of been amazed if you finished them all already, especially smile isle since u cant just grind that one
