Has anyone bought amiibo cards yet? Who did you get?

I received my second pack today, so currently i've got redd, joan, rasher, midge, portia and phil. They're all so cute, i just love the art!

They released in Japan two months ago, and many people imported.

I got Isabelle, DJ K.K, Timmy, Disgby, Pascal, Saharah, Lottie, Kiki, Deli, Limberg, Samson, Clyde, Roscoe, Truffles, Eugene, Eunice, Bunnie, Henry, and Cyrano.

Amiibo cards are still a bit hard to come by here in Japan, and I already got my faves from the series, so I haven't bothered buying any more from Series 1, and will just wait for S2 in October.

I bought 45 imported cards from amazon, although 11 were duplicates so really I only have 34. I did get some really sweet villagers. Some of my favorites that I got are Fauna, Cheri, Knox, Flurry, Yuka, Diana, and Walker.

I have 18 US amiibo cards on pre-order from Wal-Mart too, and I can hardly wait until they arrive on October 1st. I didn't get Isabelle or Tom Nook yet, so I am hoping that I get them.

Out of the 100 cards, I'm only missing 26 cards. Weird thing is, 4 of the packs I got had 3 regular villagers in them instead of 2 regular and 1 special. I didn't really mind since it is harder to get all the villagers.
Excited that the game comes out this Friday in the US.

That is really weird, Rendra! Wow, you guys have been really going for the set huh i usually have okay luck with card packs, but until they're out here in the US i probably won't try to get all of them. Gotta get those dreamies, though!

I have none atm but I plan on buying about 5 packs on release, and hope I get my favorite special characters (really only want the Nookling, Joan and Pascal tho).
I was going to import cards from Japan, but once I considered that decision, the estimate time of arrival was the release date of HHD over here anyway, so I realized there was no point.

I haven't got any yet and I don't plan on importing from Japan as I want the names to be in English. I've got two packs on release and I'll probably buy 10 packs a few days later.

Wow that's really neat! I wonder if that is a common mistake in the packs. I wouldn't mind that happening either but that's very interesting none the less. I'm super excited for the release but I'm curious about how scarce the cards will be in the U.S.

I worry that there will be shortages on the amiibo cards like the amiibo figures. That would suck.

I've pre-ordered 3 packs (the max limit I was allowed), but will be trekking to 5-6 stores at minimum on Friday morning (at least 4 different retail chains) and will advise as to what limits there might be on pack purchases. Perhaps those of us questing on Friday can compare notes.

Speaking of the amiibo cards, does anyone have a recommendation for a good card binder? I hear the cards are prone to curving and I'd like to find a nice/cute home for them
