has anyone else not uploaded a dream for their island yet?

I haven't yet because my island is a disaster unworthy of sharing. Until I clean it up and actually make it look good, I see no reason to upload it.

I was tempted to when I saw a thread where people posted their villager roster and DA, so that people figuring out their dream roster could meet contenders. I have many villagers that seem overlooked, so I kind of wanted to spark more interest in some like Colton and Reneigh. However, I'm not that far along as I didn't play it much for months, so I'm still clearing out unwanted villagers. Rocket, Tammi, and Sydney don't even have accurate homes (starter/DIYs), so I'd rather avoid people not realizing how cool Tammi's actual home is or thinking Sydney's home isn't a 5 year old train wreck it truly is. And I rather people just not see Rocket.

I also have only designed the landscapes for Pierce, Molly, Sly, and whoever is winning the orchard as their home. So it'll be weird to see Sly having his own boot camp training course in the woods followed by a randomly out there in middle of nowhere Reneigh.

I just uploaded my dream for the first time. I'm hoping a little bit more in-game interactivity is added, maybe a notification when someone visits or something (although I learned recently the NSO app will count your total number of villagers, which is cool). I really wish there was the option to visit a random island so I didn't have to enter dream codes each time.

I haven't uploaded mine yet and honestly, I'm not sure if I will upload it at all. My first island is just mess and (in my view) not that pretty. Like, I didn't put so much effort into certain things, it has no theme whatsoever. Besides, I start to kinda abandoning it, as I spend more time on my second island where I try to fix the mistakes I made on my first island (island layout, names etc.). Perhaps if I'm overall happy with how my second island will turn out, I may will upload it.

I don't think I ever will. My island's at 5 stars, it's as completed as it can get, I love it. But I don't see the point of uploading a dream version because I doubt it will get any visitors. It's nowhere near as fabulously decorated or as unique as any of the other dream islands I've visited. There's no reason to upload.

I haven't because my island isn't complete yet I'm still editing and changing, and have two areas and a whole house I haven't finished yet. I wanna get it done by the time spring rolls around again. I love pink and the cherry trees make my island pretty.

my island is not complete yet, there's a huge area that's a wip and pretty much empty, so until i fix that there's no point in uploading my island, who would want to see that? x) Ideally i'd like to have everything finished before i upload it, get all my dreamies and have all the areas decorated!

I haven't, but I'd like to eventually! In New Leaf, I always said "I'll upload it when it's done" but I never have! I've never really felt like my village was complete or good enough, but I will definitely upload it at some point because this time I feel pretty good about what I have, and I think it will be very beautiful when it's done!
I don't think it would really stand out at all because nothing about my town is particularly unique, but if I feel good about it, I think it will be worth sharing c:

I have one uploaded, but I'm considering it to be a placeholder, as I'm waiting for a few of the autumn items/colors. That's my favorite time of year and I think will best showcase my island.

There are spots that still won't be done, but it's pretty close, so I don't mind showing it off.

I visited one dream island on the day after the new feature release. The lag and buffering was so bad -- I'm genuinely not sure if it was because of the island, server overload due to the potential of a ton of players playing around with the new feature, or my Internet connection. :/ I haven't tried dreaming again since then.

I've noticed it depends on the island. The more heavily decorated ones tend to lag and stutter especially in areas with a higher concentration of items. Other islands that aren't jam packed have been fine for me in dreams.

I uploaded a dream, but I didn’t get any visitors except my friends after I bugged them about it. I’ve changed a few things since then, but I don’t want to update my dream since again no one will visit.

I never posted my DA for NL until way later in its life. I think I posted it one time and than when the WA came out it was killed due to the update and I waited until I thought it was complete. With NH I plan on the same. Especially because none of the updates and basic game speak to me. I'm not motivated by what I see to create what I want. I can only hope more comes out that clicks with my interest/curiosity in a future update(s)

My finished NL town is pretty awesome (or I am happy with what I accomplished) but I doubt I got anyone (or many) to visit it. You should create a DA because you like what you did, not for the 'clout' as they put it now.
