Yes!! I was in the middle of the polar vortex. Every single college in my state closed their campuses for about two days, including some colleges who have not had a snow day in 40 years. Mine hadn't had a snow day in 13, and we had two in a row! It was crazy.
Yeah we had a huge snowstorm a week ago. The snow was almost up to my knees in some areas before it was shoveled. It took me 3.5 hours to get home from school
Yes! But there was no snow until now! It got so bad my school had six snow days in the span of two weeks, completely interrupting our midterms. So we had two midterms on actual exam week, two more this past week, and the final two tomorrow. Midterm exams over the span of THREE weeks. It got into the negatives Fahrenheit, and was just unbearably cold. My state went into a state of emergency this past week too. It was super wild.
Snow...? Hahaha no. The map may say I'm in Oklahoma, but I swear the amount of snow we get is equivalent to Florida. Back in 2011 we got well over a foot of snow in one storm, and that winter and the one before were record breaking total (for the whole season) snow totals with blizzards... But since then? We can't even get anything more than a dusting anymore (if we even get that). It wasn't like this before 2011. It's so sad.
Just a little bit over the past few weeks here in the Netherlands! The few cm of snow that sticks melts during the day. It's still more than we've had in a very long time, though. We had enough snow to build snowmen and have snowball fights for just one day
I live in England, but not in an area where it is snowing.
A few days ago, it had snowed for just an hour, and I think the rain was unamused by this and rained away any chance for the snow to settle.
Thankfully, no. Luckily, it was nice and dry during the recent cold weather we had and it's supposed to warm up this week. I do think it's pretty when it snows, but I hate going out in it and it doesn't take much for it to start looking like a mushy, grimy mess.
It didn't snow at all in December which is weird because it's the eastern part of the US. It snowed a few times here but only a couple inches. The temperature was also really low and canceled school too. It just hasn't snowed here as much as previous years which kinda sucks honestly. Maybe it will snow more this month.
It?s been snowing off and on here. Supposed to snow here in the next few days. It?s overall been a really snowy winter here. One storm, we had 9 inches!
