Has this ever happened to you?

I don't follow behind that closely mostly because if I add someone, they'll be from a site with a rating system. I know exactly where everything is, so it's easy to know if someone steals something since I don't open my gate very often. If anything is missing, I will leave it in the rating.

It sucks that bad things have happened to a lot of people. I've just been fortunate, I guess.

I can name only two times that I've been town-robbed.

The first time was when I had some trees that were still growing. Some random guy came in and chopped those trees down and took some random flowers even though they weren't hybrids.

The second time was when I hosted a giveaway of sorts and one of the people who went in it took the only four blue pansies I had managed to ever grow, and also steal some perfect apples.

They're not big-time losses and I was able to easily make up for them, but they made me a little more careful about visitors.

As for Club T, I've only met good friends there. But then, I haven't been on Club T in months, so maybe it's gotten a little more vicious since then.

Call me an idiot/noob if you must, but I didn't know that if you flipped the wi-fi switch off, it'll mean that everything would've been back to normal from the moment the person got off the train station ;A;

Oh my that sounds terrible D: This is why I don't put my FC on my profile. If you wanna trade, fine but after that I'm deleting your friend code. It's not called friend code for nothing. It's meant for people you know and trust.
I don't know, everyone I met so far seem nice. Then again, I didn't really let them wander my town since they were people who I traded with. If I ever had people who came over to my town, I wouldn't let them out of my sight.

These cases have happened to me twice...

1) Okay so I was on Club Tortimer, and I met this person (We'll call him Bob to protect his identity XD). Bob was Japanese, so it was hard to communicate. In the end, we added each other.

Afterwards I had a trade going on, then 'Bob' came to my town. He started running around my town, and I was afraid of my flowers being trampled. He stole one of my black tulips from my town, and he was trying to steal my other flowers. I quickly saw this and ended session. I had not given him permission to do so, and he just ran ASAP to take my hard-earned hybrids...

2) This person (We'll call him Jason) was already my friend, I added him from another forum.
'Jason' asked me to open my gates, so I did. He came over and he was holding an axe...He walked up to my Perfect Orange tree and started chopping it down...and took the Perfect Oranges with him...I typed '...' and he responded in; 'Oh sorry' and gave me one Perfect Orange back. It was rotten...And I never gave him permission.

Well, either I'm too soft-centered or people are just mean...
Anyways, sorry for the long drabble, but has this happened to you guys?

I always make sure i really trust the person if i let them out of the train station and if i see something missing, i pull the wifi switch.
