and it is pretty well intertwined with the daily show.
I personally find the guy hilarious and different from Jon Stuart, don't get me wrong I love Jon as well but they are different funnies.

Actually, their jokes are written by the same people, and if you're talking about that randomly placed segment at the end of the Daily Show, then that is not "well intertwined".
