Have you picked your room themes yet?

I know each room in each of my character's houses (one to start), will have a theme. One set aside for random items, and the rest set to a furniture design. I know I'm going to do classic and fruity for certain, but otherwise I have no clue until I start playing.

I never have a theme, I just put whatever furniture I like in my house. I like buying random items for my house better than looking for a specific set of furniture.

I kind of wish I could have two towns because I sort of want to do a walking dead theme but I don't know if I want that for my whole town. I can actually only think of a few rooms so maybe I could just make it that one house idk

For my mayor I'm going to have a living room. the right room will be my quest room (I don't know what set yet). The left room will be my inside garden. That's where I'll keep my hybrids so they don't get smashed on accident. My back room will be my kitchen. The upstairs is my bedroom (rococo series) and the basement will be like my office.

My 2nd character's house will be based off of cartoons I like... yep cartoons are cool. The main room will be based off of Code Lyoko. The right room will be Adventure Time with Finn and Jake and the back room will be Adventure Time with Fiona and Cake. The left room will be Winx Club 4kids style (don't judge me. I started watching this as a joke). The upstairs will be Avatar the Last Airbender and the basement will be The Legend of Korra.

My 3rd character's house will be themed off Disney. Yeah I don't know what each room is going to be yet

I really want the Ski Series from one of the Snowmen and the Polka Dot Series. Also, the Grass Day Flower Theme looks awesome!

I want a pipe series room, a mixed wood room, a blue room, and a fishing tourney room. In my basement I'll have an old school arcade and upstairs will be my bedroom with items that I like and feel represent my personality. So basically fun nonsensical things.

A bit late to the punch, but I was just thinking about this and found this thread. c: I love hearing what others will be doing with their homes!

I'm only going to have one character, and while she shares my name, I do give her a bit of her own personality. I kind of get into a "roleplaying" state of mind while playing AC, haha. So she has her own little quirks that I don't necessarily have!

For her main room/living room, there will be the Regal series. I'd like to catch a shark and have it on display in there as well, with a couple of the regal couches around it for viewing. Who needs a TV when you have a hammerhead in the middle of the room? There would be odds n ends, like plants and such, to class it up even more. I'd also like to have an Aurora screen to put in here.

The left room will be the kitchen, which will be decorated in the egg series, with a stove, etc. etc. in there as well. The egg series makes a cute, whimsical setting, and I know quite a few people who decorate their kitchens with chickens; why not go back to the egg? c:

The right room will be a secret room, blocked off by furniture. (This is where her quirk comes into play; she tries to be classy and refined, but that room is full of mermaid and lovely furniture, which she considers embarrassing and something to be hidden,) It will also have most of the portraits I get, though those will be scattered throughout the home as well. Whichever animal character I get most attached to will have their portrait in the living room, a couple will be in the kitchen, etc.

The back room will be her official bedroom, which will probably have a couple of bugs in there. Furniture series will be Rococo. I'm sure there will also be a table with some fish as well. (I love having fish and bugs in the home; it's like she has pets, haha.)

The basement will be her work room. She loves fashion and will have several outfits down there, along with the mannequin and a sewing machine. There will be several lamps and such to make it nice and bright, and some flowers as well. c:

The second floor will be another gathering area. I haven't seen all the new furniture sets yet (like the Scandinavian set) so this is subject to change, but the plan right now is the classic series. Again, plants and fish in here.

I know that I want a library/study in one room, and a bedroom with a full furniture set upstairs (probably rococo).
The main room will probably be a living room type thing, and I'd like one of the side rooms to be like a sunroom with a bunch of plants in it. The basement is going to be my "geek" room and will have some of the video-game themed items as well as items that are similar to other geeky interests, such as the telephone box for Doctor Who I'll probably also have furniture customized to reflect some of the other things that I like in that room.
The other room in the house will probably be used for furniture that I like a lot, such as furniture from the Fish series or from Grass Day. Something like that.
