Haven't played in a week.

Town at a decent level, plenty to do. 9 villagers. Favorites everywhere...but for the life of me I just have no interest to play lately.

Anyone else going through a dry spell?

Yep I have the exact same so I reset my town to see if it would motivate me. Let's hope it does! So eager to gain my perfect town! I also received Happy Home Designer for Christmas so I haven't played for ages.

My idea of a dry spell is only playing my towns long enough to make sure no one moves, but yeah, it happens.

Restarting your town seems to be what a lot of people do, but I just can't bear losing all of my villagers doing that, so I usually just dedicate most of my time to one town, get it how I want it, and then pick up one of my others.

It also helps that my husband is completely immersed in Fallout 4, so I've been working on his towns as well.

Maybe if you set one goal at a time for yourself? Like get all of your dreamies, maybe...or work on getting all of the fish or bugs for the season to round out your museum. The beauty of this game is that it can go on forever, or at least a super long time, especially if you want to get all of the badges, furniture, etc.

I find it really helps to set a goal for yourself. Like, I want to finish my museum. I hadn't played in almost 4 months and now I find myself playing almost every day and talking to all my villagers as well as posting a lot in the forums and communicating with other players!

I go through weird phases where I'll want to play nonstop (on a weekday during school of course, lol) and then phases where I don't feel like playing at all.

I think that's what I need to do, set goals! I started fresh anyway now so it feels amazing to have so much to do! I want to landscape so bad!

If TTing isn't an issue for you, just TT to the last day you remember playing. That'll treat the town as if those two weeks haven't happened.

yeah i just dont have the enegy
when i do have the energy, however, i do try to play. i dont force myself to play if i dont have the energy but it is a bit sad ): i guess i will have to find something cool and interesting to work on in my town that will keep me motivated

I broke my record of playing everyday for months, so far I have missed two days because of school and that I'm always sleepy now even though I sleep early! Missing two days felt like my town was ruined after playging for a while non stooooop xD

A little. I'm still playing every day but I got back into Professor Layton so I'm playing that a lot more at the moment.
