I'm new, and I just really want to make some friends that I can visit a lot and play games and stuff!
Can someone explain the different types of threads or something to me? I see so many different board type things.

If you like forum games, head over to The Basement. It's at the bottom of the main page, and always fun when you're not doing anything (or waiting for a reply, a trade, etc).

If you're looking to buy anything IG (in-game) head over to Retail. That's where the trade with IG bells take place!

If you're looking for services, like dropping off Katie or getting signatures, head over to Train Station. Even if you're just looking to make friends, it's worth a visit. There are also miscellaneous chores that people sometimes as for, like decorating their town or helping with badges.

At the TBT Marketplace, you can buy or sell things for tbt bells. These are forum bells that you earn by making good quality posts. You can find your stash under your name in the side bar.

All the other forums are pretty self explanatory, but feel free to ask if you have any questions!

At the "shop", you can buy collectibles with your tbt forum bells. They're little picture thingies that'll show up under your bell amount (currently 158). They're sold out so they can stay rare.

I, personally, don't see the appeal, and buy IG items with my tbt bells. But a lot of people like them, and they're fun to trade around.

A lengthy post is a post of good quality.
Sometimes, posts detract bells. For example, if I immediate make another post after this one, and the "post merge" shows up, that detracts bells.
Although, to not piss off other people, don't rant or write out walls of text, haha.
