I just registered here a few minutes ago. I was reading the Animal Crossing board on Gamefaqs while bug hunting on the island, and noticed a couple people mention this site. You probably won't see too much of me anytime soon since I mostly just read random Animal Crossing threads while playing New Leaf, but I figured I'd say hi.

I am sure a lot. I have read quite a few introductions with the same story: people were talking about TBT so I took a look see. I actually visited TBT quite a few times before finally joining. Believe one of my earliest posts after registering was getting Apple in a giveaway.

I'm totally the same way - it took me months to start posting on one forum I'm currently really active on. I mean, I made an account fairly soon after discovering the board, but I spent a lot of time reading through practically every thread on the little forum before making my presence known. Can't say it'll be the same way here, but who knows. :3 At the very least I'll eventually be making an attempt to catalog all the DLC items I can reorder, so there's a bunch of future posts in the making.

Oh man, I saw it on gamefaqs as well and thought I'd try and make some new friends with similar interests x)

Gamefaqs is pretty great about linking to useful sites. Especially for stuff like Dragon Quest IX. God knows how many hours I'd have spent spelunking in grottoes without those sites that let me know beforehand whether it's worth the effort...I'm sure this forum will be just as useful, not to mention fun to be in.
