yes, I tt-ed a month to the original date, went in and no ones house plot was gone o: I think I got SUPER lucky. ;-;
it might be because just before I tt-ed a month back accidentally, coco pinged to move and I told her no? not even sure anymore but I got really lucky to not lose anyone ;-; <3

Yeah, this could very well be it. I'm not sure if this rumour has really been confirmed yet, but it seems that when you stop someone from moving, you can take a break from the game for however long you want and no one will move out in the meantime. The two times I've taken a break from this game (both were well over a month), no one moved out when I did this.

Surprisingly, my grass looks amazing! And I only had 6 weeds altogether XD but lots of normal flowers! thanks so much for offering to help! just glad this mini heart attack is over x__x

Yeah but I am saying with a copy that's for time traveling or poorly taken of to test first. I wouldn't use it if its not proven many times to work correctly.

i've seen lots of confirmation this worked on other sites, and this isn't actually the first time that happened to me , I tt-ed a month backwards few weeks back by accident and I only lost Francine! no one else thank fully moved! Just TT with your 3ds clock, and you can make a new character and check if anyone moved out, if they did just change the date a bit back, until they're in your town again, talk to them and stop them from moving, and go back to step one.

this worked for me 2 times, maybe I should start an experiment for this, this would make the game less tiresome!

I'm pretty sure that no matter how far you TT back it will still only count as 1 day, so villagers won't move out unless they were gonna move out the next day anyways.

Yes. Time traveling back counts as 1 day I have heard.

Thank you! this actually did work, since someone suggested the same thing earlier and I tried it out, thank fully I used this method before doing the tt slowly everyday back to the original date method (that would had taken ages o

Happen to me last month. Now I never touch the tt on the end of each month.

yes, I entered new save file first to check and realised no one left so entered as mayor and everything was fine!
