Help! Katie and Kaitlin are in town!

Hi!

My sister and my cousin have been playing Animal Crossing Wild World with each other a lot recently, and today Katie appeared in my sister's town. My cousin was time travelling a lot when it happened, I'm not sure if it affected it, but when we tried looking for Katie's mom, Kaitlin, we couldn't find her anywhere in my cousin's town. We checked Booker, and he said that Gracie was in town, but not the mother. So my cousin tried time travelling to a day where Gracie wasn't there, and it didn't work. Booker still said that no one has came, and Katie is still in my sister's town.
We looked up around on what to do, and they said that you don't need to find the mother, and you can just bring Katie through the gate to the person with the mom's town. We tried that, but once we go through the gate, Katie disappears.

So if anyone knows what to do, please help!

If you didnt Time Travel this problem probably wouldn't exist.
Tmk, you can still return the cat even if you have another villager in town (they just over ride them)
the only thing i can think of is just hope that the mumma cat shows up

if you want to have a little fun with katie, you should make her feel really sad. run as fast as you can until kaitie cries and go insinde a house and put her in a cage of holes and invite friends to see kaitie suffer.

And obviously she's gone now, since it's been about two weeks. But I think if you go to her town, Kaitlin will either comes back, or Katie will disappear.
