Help me With Villager Suggestion?

Ok here are my current villagers:

Right now these are the ones I know for sure are staying:

1. Raddle
2. Nan
3. Roscoe
4. Rodeo
5. Mathilda
6. Mathilda’s Baby

Here is a list of villagers I’m not sure about:

-Lucky: I love his home color, but I’m having difficulties with his physical appearance ( it looks blinding white). Would love suggestions on someone who looks beat up?

-Barold and Curt: I only want one bear on my island. I know Barold is a cub, but they’re still bears. Right now I’m leaning more towards Curt ( because I like his house better).

-Kiki. There’s something about her coloring that is off. She is kind of blueish? Her tint bothers me. That is the only thing that’s bothering me.

-Cole: I think I’ll keep Cole. I like him and I like his house exterior. The only reason he is on the maybe is because I can’t figure out what to do with his house decoration or where to place him.


Right now for sure Barold is out, so I need to replace him. It’s a priority to replace him.


Kiki, lucky and Curt are not priorities because I have already decorated their houses ( and they came out beautiful). I might not replace them... but I want options.

I’m looking for villagers that sort of match the ones that are permanent.
I also need 1-2 villagers that have rustic houses ( beat up, Scrappy looking). I ran out of space. So rustic houses look nicer on the beaches.

Should I add Coco? will her color throw off the theme?


Any suggestions?

There's two wolves that might fit your theme, as they look old/washed up lol

I think one of them even has a cabin for a house, but I don't remember their names. Let me see...

My bad, I mixed things up. Dobie is the one I thought about. Shep is a dog, has a rustic house, but he looks more laid-back than beat up (he was the other one I was thinking about).

It definelty helps! I have his amiibo, so it might be an option. Both Cole and him would be on the beach so it’s nice if they match ( even though they won’t necessarily be on the same side of the beaches).

I actually did have Dobie. He didn’t make it on the keeper list. Aww he was so cute but his color was a bit off ( too green). I’m so complicated.
I love the look of shep so much right now I just might consider moving him and Coco. The two having similar colors wont throw it off too much. Gosh I wish shep was grey.

Since you’re going monochromatic, might I suggest Chèvre? She and Nan have photos of each other in their houses so they are soulmates. If you find Lucky blindingly white though, you might have the same problem with her.

Antonio? I have him right now, he's a jock. I don't like anteaters in general, but he's cool. Black and white with a yellow shirt.

Yes unfortunately though I think they’re so cute together. I don’t think I could get used to chèvre, which is so sad. Her features and house are too bright for my island. I wouldn’t be able to place them side by side either at this point, and if I had them, I would think she needed to be side by side with nan.

His coloring is so pleasing to me. Ahhhk I don’t like his house though. I might just ignore the exterior a bit though because he looks so nice. I have never even considered the anteaters. I always thought they were a bit weird.

A few villagers that might fit in with the colour scheme:

• Ribbot - hes all dark (though his eyes are a little bright), don't know if you'd want two frogs though as you already have Raddle
• Muffy - she'd be quite a good choice for a sheep villager if you want an animal species you don't already have and her colour scheme is quite nice as you have some other villagers with hints of purple, don't know if she has a bit too much purple though?
• Hamphrey - another choice for a different species who might fit in quite well with the colour scheme
• Agnes - probably my favourite pig so I might be a little biased but she looks like she'd fit in with your other villagers

For potential Lucky replacements that could pass as a beat up look:

• Cherry - could replace him with another dog, she doesn't fully have the right look but she has the dark patch around one eye that could count as a black eye?
• Rasher - he looks like he's been in a few fights
• Spike - same as above though I'm not too sure on his colouring, the other two look like they could fit better with your other villagers

Thinking about personalities you don’t have:

Peppy - Bella, Dotty, Ruby
Uchi- Muffy, Agnes
Jock - Antonio
Smug: Huck, Tex, Zell, Ken

other - Portia, Peewee, Punchy, Tasha

I think that if you want to keep the monochromatic theme, Antonio, Muffy and Hamphrey are nice options

Ive decided that Kiki will be going. I’m replacing her with Agnes. I just moved her in and she fits in really well!


I change my mind again. I will be keeping Barold and replacing Curt. Curt will be leaving.

Lucky is also leaving. I’m so heartbroken by this. I’m going to move him and place Barold where he was before. And place Cole where Curt was before.


On thinking for the other two: Zell, Tasha,
Hamphrey , or gonzo.
I have to move them in to see how I feel about them.

I saw Lobo and I really love his house exterior, but I’m not sure I like his appearance. I don’t think I like the look of wolves too much. I did try dobie though a while back but I couldn’t get attached to him.

Oh I like Olive. I actually had her. I had her next to Barold. That’s when I realized I had too many bears. Unfortunately when I started getting rid of the bears, she was the first to go. I know it’s crazy that Barold is my top favorite of the three. It’s weird.

Awww I love Bonbon. I think I’ve always liked her look. Just when you posted I started actually contemplating her, but I remember that I had Cole. For some reason, I can’t have two of the same villager species. I tried it before and I’ve always have to let one go.
