Hi! Barold came to my island, and I really need help getting him out! Does anyone know easy ways to kick out a villager? I believe you can't kick out your newest villager, and he's the newest. Note that I don't use amiibos so...

Let another villager leave
Talk to him once and not again

Basically the villager with the lowest friendship with you is most likely to ask to leave.

If you see a bubble above their head, talk to them.

If they're not asking to leave, shut off the game immediately so you don't raise your friendship.

While doing that, raise your friendship with all other villagers.

If another villager asks to leave after you let the first go, turn off your game.
The bubble might move to someone else the next day. Otherwise it's a 2 week wait.

The easiest method to kick out specific villagers is using Amiibos. Otherwise, it’s just RNG, which means luck is on your side, or it isn’t.

hi ! moving out specific villagers is a very long process, but once u get the hang of it its not hard to understand. ill try my best to explain my process of moving out villagers. be advised that this involves time traveling (changing the time on ur switch), however it can be done without TT but takes incredibly long.

- skip ahead one month. look around ur island for ANY villagers with a thought bubble. they can be anywhere but are most commonly found with a thought bubble at resident services or their house.

- if there are no villagers with a thought bubble, skip ahead one week

- if there is a villager u dont want to move out with a thought bubble, skip ahead one week. repeat this process until the thought bubble lands on the villager u want to move out.

if i remember correctly villagers will not ask to move out if there is a campsite visitor OR if KK is visiting. there is also a campsite method of moving out villagers quickly that also uses TT. good luck !

Unfortunately yea you can’t kick out the newest villager. You can try using the campsite . It’s luck based but if you have a campsite villager they can ask Barold to leave.

hello! Could I ask you one question? Does TT affect your friendship with other villagers? Like do they feel as if you hadn't spoken to them for a week or something and it affects your friendship? Thank you!

If I want someone to leave I time travel forward and everyday and walk around not talking to anyone then save my game get out. Then change the date to the next day get back in game walk around again not talking to anyone then repeat the process this takes about 5 in game days to do with me time traveling. Then usually on the 5th day some one has the thought bubble thinking of leaving and if its not the islander I want to leave I will repeat the process

Don't the villagers get mad you are not talking to them?

I don't know about KK playing, but I have had villagers thought bubble ask to move out when there's a camper and if you let them go, then go talk and ask the camper to move in while you have no empty slots, the villager who you said can move out will be the only villager the campsite villager suggests to talk to so they can move in.

nope. they'll just remark on how long you've been gone. the only way to decrease friendship is to gift them garbage or things like that.

The best method is with an Amiibo card. Invite a new villager and ask them to speak to Nook. They’ll come back and say someone is thinking of leaving, tho it’s pot luck who and you just need to reset and try again until the get the villager you want (although I can’t remember if the last villager to move on can move straight out or if someone else needs to move out first? Maybe someone can correct me)

Otherwise it’s just about waiting until you see a speech bubble over a villagers head, but again this is RNG based. I’ve been waiting for Merengue to move out for literally months but still she won’t leave.
