help with island name!

I'm getting NH tomorrow cause I'd prefer a physical copy of the game, so I need help coming up with an island name. My New Leaf town was called "Goo" which I'd still like but maybe change is good too. I'm Indigenous, specifically Cree and I'd love to use a word from my native language!

Goo - original ACNH name
Nipi - means 'leaf' in Cree language
Wasko - means 'sky' in Cree language

All the names are good, but I think I like the sound of Wasko best. I'm curious, how would you say "good sky", "water leaf", or "big sky" in Cree? And totally not because I'm looking for a good name for my island too.

I like Wasko! I think it also sounds great if you add Isle or Cove, like Wasko Isle and Nipi Cove also sounds good.

Interestingly enough, 'water' in Cree looks very similar to Cree with slightly diff. pronunciation. 'Water leaf' would be nipiy nipi (pronounced nih-pee nee-pee). 'Big sky' would be something like 'Misiwasko' as 'Misi' is the prefix for 'big'.

fun fact! Mississippi is a Cree word meaning 'Large river'
