Help with keeping a villager please!

So one of my villagers told me that my beloved Pekoe is thinking about moving out! I have been talkning to Pekoe, walking in front of her to see if she will ping me... So far, nothing! Other then keep walking around her, is there anything else i can do to get her to ping me so i can tell her no?

Yes, either 1: save and TT only one hour and go to ping her and TT back an hour the next day maybe (just to be sure since my times adjusted for the way I play and incase you don't TT)

2: You can put on a wet suit and swim out to the bottom edges of the ocean wait for about five minutes so, make a snack watch a little tv,etc and walk around until your villager that is moving pings you if its not THAT ONE try repeating that and eventually she'll mention it.

Just save and quit and start again, she should ping c: I've done it even without TTing and it still works x

I used the save quit and then start up again. She eventually pinged me.
