Help with RLC pricing!

well I don't go over the lines like wild xD I shade along them and then slightly adjust them with the painting idk how to explain that... you might have to redraw here and there a bit but is it that bad?
mhh I think it looks just fine in my case, and in viorie's case too '-' but well if it's not your thing then that's completely okay. Was just a suggestion C:

I mean that eye folds could be in a different color than black (or dark brown I'm not sure which color you used) because it doesn't really merge into the face, it looks like a seperate line from the face, kind of? But that also could be because of the you draw eyes, I'm not sure...
And I think the shadows on the face are too bright, you could make them darker to add depth, especially because of the dark atmosphere Ciel is in. It doesn't fit as the skin is super shiny and looks like it has almost no shadow reflection at all ; o ;
sorry does that make sense now..? ;-;

nope

I JUST REALIZE I POSTED THE EDITED ONE WHOOPS ILL ADD THE ORIGINAL IN LATER AHAHA

aww okay I give up haha, sorry that I'm not able to explain it better :/

This may sound a little cruel, but I don't think it's a $2 sale that's going to happen. You have to find something that separates your art from others, and this looks sloppy. The hair shading looks quickly done, and the skin has no definite form to it. It doesn't look like you're thinking while you're coloring. There's so many places you can go with the lines you have, but it seems like an easy way out.

I don't want to be cruel about it.. but I suggest taking a step back and thinking "What can I do to make my coloring more diverse?" "What can I do to separate myself from others that no one else does?"

I just recently posted in another thread about making a sale count. It's some advice I'll share with you too. Every commission you get is going to be something based on a customers wants. Even for just two dollars you need to be thinking about what's going to make your consumer the happiest. With that kind of logic you need to do some practice.

"If I were paying for a drawing of my character, what would I want it to look like?"

If you're satisfied paying $2 for what you have there, then that's your call.. but you need to up your standards for your customers and your own sake. With that being said, continue to learn, get better, and happy arting :)
