If you want to take a pic of your villager with a thought bubble how do you manage it? I mean I've done it but it takes a miracle(and it never looks right)! You type the text and hit + and the thought bubble appears. then you have to race to open the camera app and get the pic setup(even just the zoom and aligning the camera takes too long) and by then the thought bubble is gone. Is there a way to make the thought bubble stay longer or a quicker way to set up the camera? This is really frustrating and I'd appreciate any help. thanks

You can always use the built in screenshot function of the switch. That's what I typically do if I'm required to have a text bubble up for whatever reason. The screenshot button is the square one with a little circle on it, located on the left joycon.

I haven't tried it since I've only ever had the Nintendo Switch Online service for a week at a time when they offer it for free, but there's a keyboard for the phone app that will send your text to the game. In theory, you could set up your camera and then send the text from your phone to the game and take the screenshot then. It might not work when you're in the camera mode in the game, but, as the other person said, the square button on the left joycon is the universal screenshot button. You can even hold it down to save a video of the last thirty seconds of whatever the Switch was showing, and then go into the photos app and go through the video frame by frame and shoot a moment to turn into a screenshot. So you don't have to have perfect timing with the screenshot button.
