Hey guys! I'm currently around 70% done with my town, and would love your honest opinions!!!

I love it! I really liked how you made a lot of different themed areas and maximized the space on the island without making it feel cramped! In my opinion, you could add some more trees and bamboo (and other greenery) which would add a bit more atmosphere to places such as the zen area. Other than that great job! :)

Also...

love the skelly band!! haha also love the different separate areas you made

makes for a cool hangout place for friends im sure

I looove the amusement park, its suuper cool. The only thing I didn't like was how close together the villager's houses were. I would put them in # as well, but with a little more space between them for trees or other stuff. I saw you got plenty of space in 1:21 and 1:31- I didn't loove those areas and I think a luxury residential zone could look great there.
Congratulations though, your town is amazing!

i would like to apologize in advance if some of my criticisms may come across as rude!! i love and enjoy seeing other people's islands, and looking at your's was very interesting. ur island is beautiful, and i dont know ur true vision so my comments may seem obviously wrong to u, but they are what i think as an outsider. i would also like to say our aesthetics are vastly different, so some of my judgements may come from me not being particularly interested in what u may be interested in. thank u for showing us ur island and asking for advice!! it takes a lot of courage <3

one part of ur island i really liked was that lil zen area in the beginning with the spa. im assuming that's where ur house is?? the area is very small but very detailed, something i aspire to achieve on my island as well. the bamboo and bamboo lamps were really cute!! the spa was also very peaceful, i'd definitely like to relax there. i think the use of sand was smart, and the sound effects from walking on it weirdly tie together the whole area. though i loved that area as a whole, i feel like the huge waterfall behind it, nd that it was placed in a huge lake kinda threw me off a bit?? and the path out of it seemed like it could have had more land and landscaping to said land. in a way it seemed dangerous, even tho that concept doesnt really exist outside of scorpions and tarantulas in ac games lol. u probably have a vision for the water that im just not seeing, or it may be part of the 30% u have yet to do. while it did stick out to me, the beauty of how u decorated the area distracts from it in general.

ur orchard and the lil private beach & graveyard area after that was so beautiful!! the graveyard was a bit bare, but i still loved it. some trees, a lil bench, and maybe some of those bamboo square lamps from the spa may make it seem a bit more cozier/used/visited if that makes sense?? the moon and star fragment was cute, and the private beach was tastefully decorated. the waterfalls beside the incline gave a nice sound effect but like the huge waterfall, idk how i feel about it. it didnt detract from my overall enjoyment of the area, though. the ambiance it gave won over any strangeness it may have.

ur town area was very cute. i loved the cramped feeling it had, but at the same time i felt like it was a disorganized cramped-ness rather than an organized one?? i think that u were going for that cozy, small area feeling and u definitely hit the nail on the head with that, but i personally am not a fan of 1 tile wide paths and i feel like if u had somehow lined up the villagers' homes you could fit more decorations to make it seem more lived in. while ive said that, it's definitely not a bad area. i realize it's really hard to move and place villager homes exactly how u want it, even with the ability to literally do it whenever u want. its a lovely area, so i dont see a reason to change it if u consider it done.

the lil jazz area killed me when i saw it, literally dead on sight luv. i love the idea of a musical area and i may have to consider one for my own island now (thank u for all the inspiration uve supplied throughout this viewing <3). the only issue i had with it was that it was a bit too big and seemed out of place when u compare it to the area where u first started the video. some of the area could have been used for more villager house space or something a bit more useful, but it still made me smile when i saw it so please don't get rid of the area (but perhaps consider a downsize).

the little eating areas u showed off after that suffer from bareness but i imagine that's due to a lack of furniture rather than a choice uve made. the carnival area is very cute, but also really big!! but i honestly dont know what else u could put there if u want to keep ur villagers and store all in an area together so the space uve used for the area makes sense. the area with the big picture and pools seemed cool but other than that i dont rly have an opinion on it. that doesn't mean it's bad!!! i just don't know what to think bc no thoughts head empty right now.

overall your island is very lovely!! i have to say the beginning areas (home, orchard, spa, and graveyard) are my favorites. i've noticed a distinct lack of trees, which is very odd when there are noticeable leaf piles everywhere. where do the piles come from, you know?? there also seemed like there was just too much space that could have been utilized to spread ur villager homes out a bit while still keeping the cozy feeling. i also felt like ur island was kind of sterile?? i dont know if there's a better word to use here, but ur cliffs were very square and didn't seem natural. that may have been because u needed them to be square to actually create the area u wanted to, which is fine. they didnt take away from anything, and i only noticed it at the end of the tour so it may have only been there. along with the lack of trees, i also noticed that u only used tulips. that may be because u only have access to tulips which is totally, but i would definitely try to breed for more colors or mix up the colors u use now instead of just having all white or something (that worked fine for areas like the spa). i also feel like the aesthetic of ur island could be more cohesive. like uve used multiple different fences, pathing and inclines which makes it seem a bit all over the place (some of ur areas contribute to this; while the beginning seemed asian-inspired the rest of the island after the villager homes seemed to not match as well, however this is probably where our aesthetic differences come into play).

it was fun to watch u run around ur island!! my critiques may seem severe but i honestly dont mean for them to come off that way!!! please note ive come up with them after watching the video multiple times, so most of the things ive found came after close inspection rather than first viewing (except for the lack of trees!! pls plant trees!!!). i hope i didn't discourage or offend u, i just take requests for opinions very seriously because that's how i would want others to be with me if i asked them for any. if u need me to elaborate, or just want to yell at me pls let me know!! id be more than willing to do so (except for the yelling i may have lied). to reiterate, ur island is beautiful and is uniquely u and thats what i think makes it so great. u honestly dont have to do anything ive said because it's still great the way it is. good luck my friend!!

wow ok u just made me feel so insecure about my island
its beautiful bro...

This is soooo nice. I especially love the area at 2:09, along with the part leading to the private beach. The zen theme you got going on is cool too. You have a lot of creative ideas in this island so yeah I think it's great!

I love it! You made great use of so many awesome items!

Maybe keep Marshal and Tia separated, though :p

I love the way it looks so far! The amount of variety you put in the themed areas of the island is very impressive!

Thanks for all the input! No offense taken whatsoever! I do think there may be a bit of 'personal taste' clashing between us, but I do agree on some of your points and I'm actually moving around some of the houses right now as per your suggestion! Thanksss

Very impressive! You did a great job creating multiple distinct spaces. Your big waterfall is also gorgeous!

I agree that you could definitely use more trees and flowers, especially at 0:16 and 0:34 and also that the villagers' houses seem squished together too tightly. I also think the area in front of your museum looks pretty empty compared to the rest of the island. You could obviously put some greenery there, or maybe a small cafe.

I'm more of a heavily wooded forest kind of person but it looks good! It would be fun to visit.

Very nice so far! The skeleton band made me chuckle. I think I would recommend rearranging your villagers a little bit, though; it would look better if they were either lined up on a grid, or farther apart. When they're that close together but unaligned, it looks a little haphazard. I think you also have a tendency to both over- and under-use paths; there are lots of large square-ish areas totally covered in pathing when they might look better with a bit more grass showing through, and lots of walkways that are left with bare grass instead of having a path to follow. I think so far the zen spa area and the amusement park are the most successful areas.

Wow, it looks so good! The island also feels extremely big with all the different areas you have, love it!
