I've found a video on YouTube how it will start out, 39 minutes long! The language is Japanese but it gives a nice look at Happy Home Designer.

In the first photo Meowlina included in her OP, at the very bottom of that photo you can see all the skin colours (right below the eye colours!). We have 8 to choose from.

Meh, this doesn't look like an Animal Crossing game. You should have to go through questions as usual - as for skin colour, well, they'd have to figure something out.

I love how they give the player more choice in the creation of their character. I would always have to look up guides to get my character just the way i wanted in all the games. New Leaf made things much easier with the hair and eye color. The part that was really difficult was the skin color. You are always white unless you get a tan in the summer or on the beach everyday.
