HHP Lottie

So does anyone know if anything gets unlocked or any changes happen after inviting Lottie for coffee on your island and designing a vacation home for her in HHP?

Lottie arrives but brings Niko and Wardell with her. You can talk to them and they have some interesting dialogue but not really "unlocks" or "changes" afterwards. I mean you can get their photo if you have their amiibo cards and use it at the HHP Resort. It only works at the machine in Lottie's office. Not at The Roost or Resident Services on your island.
