What happens after you build vacation homes for every single villager and special character in HHP?

I'm up to 65 homes at the moment, not sure if I'm going to try and make a home for everyone. Has anyone actually tried to? Did anything special happen?

I don’t think there’s a limit. I’ve made 100 homes and Lottie gave me a celebration.

Youtuber Dagnel actually made a video about this, covering what happens when you build a vacation home for all the villagers. Nothing really happens, but the clients' beach is all empty and sad since you have no one left to build for. c':

There are 413 villagers and 62 special characters you can build for. Taking into account that certain special characters like Kapp'n's family, the Able sisters, etc., always share vacation homes, at minimum if you pair up 412 villagers as roommates that's still 261 vacation homes for everyone before you run out of characters
