HHP progress saving

Last year I bought the nintendo switch online plan with the animal crossing HHP extension. Now my nintendo online plan has ended and I don't have the HHP extension anymore. I would like to buy the HHP extension again, but I'm not sure if my progress has been saved.

Your progress in HHP will always be saved, even if you can’t access the DLC. As long as the save data is downloaded to your Nintendo Switch, you will have your save data.
