Hallo! My name is Maty and I'm 21! I'm from the United States and been playing Animal Crossing since I got Wild World back in 2009ish? But sadly I don't have my original game anymore. What was the first Animal Crossing game you played?

I'd love to make some friends on here who would like to play either New Leaf or New Horizons with me and maybe even become friends and chat outside of the game! I do have autism, severe anxiety/social anxiety, severe depression, and possibly other things that make me come off as extremely standoffish but I promise I'm not like that. I'm shy and quiet and very introverted until I get to know someone well so as long as you can be patient with me I'm sure we can become great friends and have a lot of fun in Animal Crossing together! ​

Hiya Maty, welcome to the forums!! ^^ My first AC game was New Leaf, but I got it right towards the end of 2019, so I still feel like a relatively new-ish player. Who are your favorite villagers?
I haven't been terribly active in NH lately so I probably won't make the best playing buddy right now, but I'm looking forward to seeing you around the forums! c: We've got a really warm, friendly community, and despite my own issues with anxiety/depression, everyone's made me feel very comfortable posting here. I hope it can be the same way for you!

Welcome to the forum! I hope to see you around. I first started playing Animal Crossing on the Gamecube way back in 2005. I (well, my dad) rented the game so much from a video rental store that the employees just decided to give it to me.

The community here is very nice. I’m pretty extroverted if I’m being honest, but I can understand the struggles of social anxiety. I like your profile picture. Did you draw it yourself?

Hello Maty! I'm Jenny. Welcome to the forum. My first Animal Crossing game to play was New Horizons, and I only started at the end of February. I've played it everyday since and love my island community. My only regret about New Horizons is why didn't I buy it sooner! Hopefully, we could visit each others islands, do some shopping, etc. I'm in BST, but I'm sure we'll be able to catch each other when we're both online. I am that hooked on New Horizons, that I had a spare Switch so I bought another copy to start a 2nd island! If you need anything, feel free to ask and I'll see if I've got it in my inventory.
