I liked the early Pokemon games... anyone that was in elementary school in the late 90's does, boys or girls.

"Mudkipz" stopped being funny before the character was even created.

The original 151 Pokemon were very creative, in appearance and name. As the series has expanded to 1.5 jillion Pokemon, most creativity has been thrown out in favor of weird anime bull*censored.2.0*.

I'd have to say Hoeen had the best Pokemon, but the original 151 were the ones I mainly grew up with as a kid watching the show in like kindergarden? I didn't know a Pokemon game existed at the time though. My favorite of Kanto is Squirtle, he is badass.

Also, the new gen starters sucked! I liked first gen and second, but that was it. The other ones just got old and annoying.

Johnto has the worst starters. So does Sidoh, and the only good starter in Hoenn is Treecko.
